  1. The whole thing was intact initially, not the best pic for you guys to look at but the receiver/ main body is upside down in pic. Look closely and you can see the belt feed aperture on the underside. Length, general features etc and the rivet/pin pattern etc the uxo Supv ( ex navy clearance PO diver) called it before it was even cleaned up.
  2. No idea Pretty sure it ain’t aluminium as the proximity to steel would have ended up with it acting like an anode, defo not vented, possibly a water cooling jacket but who knows 🤷‍♂️. Serial number would maybe answer a lot of questions with some research but the unfired round in the chamber makes pulling it apart a no no Didn’t even bother taking the concretion off-the-second one.
  3. Pair of Browning 303 MGs
  4. Interesting find today. Not exactly what we expected from the mag hit but nice all the same. Barrel shrouds look to be stainless. Both barrels bent at the ends quite dramatically,
  5. Green Party investigates councillor who shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ after election and said Palestinians should 'fight back' APPLE.NEWS The Green Party is investigating a councillor who shouted 'Allahu Akbar' after his election and said... A battle cry used by a “ very small minority “ utter BS.
  6. Be like what ?? Some members are so sensitive nowadays. As long as it’s the truth I’ll take it.
  7. There are a few other members of the grammar police on here. im pleased you managed to work it out in the end 👍
  8. How’s it weird 🤷‍♂️ I put up a reply, straight to the point and fairly simple. 42 reacts with “ confused” . For what reason I’ve no idea. I think what Andy is referring to is a historical trend.
  9. Well bud For me it’s simple, the guys a clown who has seen a contractor off for a decent amount of money, possibly not for the first time. To hell with etiquette name the bugger so no one else gets burned. How anyone finds that confusing 🤷‍♂️more than likely down to the fact it’s written by me Andy.
  10. No ifs or buts Cliff put his name and address up. Why anyone would be confused at that 42 is absolutely beyond me.
  11. That’s good going, my drive belt was goosed after about 15hrs. The original 130 I had they lasted a good while but for some reason I seem to be going through them in no time. The issue manifests itself in the form of the tracking going off and the bands migrating to front of the wheel. I’ll possibly try and get some better quality replacements and see how it pans out.
  12. You do 😳!! Don’t worry Im fully focussed on task in hand. By all means pop over to the covid thread and put up your proof 👍I look forward to seeing it, depending on how charitable I’m feeling later I might make it easier for you, just to point out accusations are different to opinions so stop embarrassing yourself with that.
  13. Loads 🤷‍♂️time in my hands you see. I’d quit asking if you’d put the proof up. I thought peds was wanting some interaction when I asked him to check his notes.
  14. Try posting the truth then 👍
  15. Vote for my friend Sadiq Khan. Don’t let toxic, incompetent Tory rule ruin our capital APPLE.NEWS While Sadiq has transformed London’s mayoralty, Susan Hall would be a divisive disaster, says... Such sincere and wise words from Starmer about the second coming. His look back at the Blair years through rose tinted spectacles nearly brought a lump to my throat. Strangely most people I talk to down here in the south east don’t seem to share his sentiments regarding saint Sadiq.
  16. Good that you have time to reply and research topics, may I suggest you use that time in a manner more likely to restore some form of credibility for yourself. Leave anything you find over on the appropriate thread. Regarding the article you are desperately trying to rubbish ( Or where it was printed) I actually thought the health secretary was talking a lot of sense for a change, but don’t let that get in the way of your little obsession. just read through those gleefully posted links and am yet to find anything particularly juicy so to speak 🤷‍♂️Young Joel Golby obviously doesn’t like him but is as he says more of a cat person so I guess that’s him credible enough for you. Oh and some students might apparently think there’s a bit of a right wing agenda going on 😂. You have obviously not got anything to say about the content of the article itself which is somewhat strange. Anyway you are it would seem not too busy today so I genuinely look forward to seeing what you post on the other thread regarding in your case, the allegations about me being happy “to sacrifice the elderly” .
  17. I think the £190 million is a bit of an understatement Mark, jail time for the people running the company would encourage responsible management going forward.
  18. NHS should axe diversity and inclusion officers, says health secretary FREESPEECHUNION.ORG Health Secretary Victoria Atkins has said she wants the NHS to move away from employing so... Finally a tiny bit of common sense. Utter waste of taxpayers hard earned cash hiring people for such roles.
  19. Extra width will make all the difference to how fast the saw will cut. The blades will also need to be set and sharpened well. I’ve found a wide set up is far less forgiving than the narrower ones.
  20. Not seen the new Honda version 🤔 how do you get along with belts on your 130 max ? im finding they don’t last too long compared to the old standard 130, mind you I’ve pushed it pretty hard.
  21. Sounds like you have the log handling sorted, I envy you there. As for power I’d say you can never have enough. I’ve not heard any negative comments regards cutting accuracy on the 1001 but for sure wider will not cut as fast or forgivingly as narrow if that makes sense.
  22. That the one on EBay at min ?. There’s definitely money to be made for sure ( not easy money I’ve found) but a lot depends on location and local competition I’d say. Mind you if you can get decent timber at sensible money then you stand a fair chance of making it a viable proposition. Having a decent loader is as important as a good mill too imo especially if as you say it’s oversized stuff you are getting. Andys name has already been mentioned, he’s probably done more on a logosol mill than most on here. I know his cuts true and fast and has taken some stick, you can’t ask for more than that.
  23. Gardens looking very presentable Andy 👍 You will be in the mrs good books.
