  1. How much acknowledgment and engagement do you require ?? Or is it hand wringing apologies by politicians every other year for historical events that often took place before any of us were even born. Take a look at many of the cultures especially in Africa but not confined too by any means and see what different ethnic groups are capable of doing to each other regardless of colour. We luckily have the privilege to be able to view from afar events that hopefully will never occur here. Thanks in no small part to the culture so many are often keen to deride.
  2. Not really in relation to the topic concerned but a general observation in as much as you seem to hate the UK and everything about it. I’ve yet to hear you say anything good about our nation for months now 🤷‍♂️. Just curious have you lived, worked or possibly been deployed anywhere around the world ?? In particular Africa or the Middle East ??. I don’t entirely agree 100% with the post Donk put up in it’s entirety but if you’d ever experienced some other countries and cultures then often things are not as bad here as is made out, and yes whilst every European colonial power did it for self enrichment the British did tend to leave a bit of good behind which is what he is implying I think. Not to say bad deeds were not committed as we all know they were,
  3. Yep it was a paradise under Mugabe compared to Smith.

    Covid-19

Sitting watching Panorama “ Cashing in on Covid”. Total and utter piss take of the highest order. The total hysteria this generated from day one has been shamelessly exploited to fleece billions from the taxpayer.
  5. Stainless components in its construction and so they can charge more for it 🙄which is often the case.
  6. To hell with the logs eh j, the eye was drawn to the toys in the background 👍😃
  7. That last stick looks a decent one Andy 👍👍keep at it bud he will crack in the end 😀
  8. Took a chance on a piece of elm today, few soft spots in centre but nothing major. last pic is the back Mark I promise it won’t go in firewood pile 👍👍
  9. Look up diver magnets, commonly used by commercial divers inshore and offshore to assist with staying in position on metal structures especially flat bottomed tankers etc. Anything from 50KG to 2000kg if you have the urge.
  10. Maajid Nawaz scrutinises 'dangerous' proposed Policing Bill APPLE.NEWS Priti Patel is conducting a 'power grab' by looking to pass legislation which would largely criminalise... Power and control is addictive 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️So it seems it’s all well and good to keep using covid as an excuse but as is plain here this is nothing more than wanting to hang onto and create more and more powers.
  11. Ageing British tanks leave soldiers at risk, report warns APPLE.NEWS In a new report, the British Army's efforts to modernise its ageing fleet of armoured vehicles are... Absolute disgrace the amount of cost cutting by successive governments year after year. No one seems to learn the lessons of history.
  12. Great mix of old and new, brought up working horses from an early age in some with hindsight pretty harsh conditions. Hats off to the guy whom trained the pair in the video as getting them to stand that quietly whilst being loaded ain’t as simple as it looks.
  13. Case in point !! Really !! That was a fair request I thought, I was genuinely busy 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️. Seeing as you do like a question I threw a bit of humour in at the end to avoid a can you explain x y and z session. You could possibly do with lightening up a bit bud. Troll is well up there with the likes of Woke and New Normal in the scale of stupid PC bullshit words as far as I’m concerned. If you want a private conversation PM the guy.
  14. Being nursed with a few tanks cross cutting, he’s got a good sized old Oak that’s probs gonna have to come down next to his house so probably a good opportunity to christen it.
  15. There’s no trolls as you put it on here in reality. People disagree, often the most vociferous are the pro lockdown and restrictions advocates, views are aired maybe a tad forcefully at times. You have theories on the food industry that follow the same pattern that some have on pharmaceuticals and Covid 🤷‍♂️ Yet those are your views and you are entitled to them, who am I to call you a conspiracy nut job. As for test and trace yep it’s truly mind boggling how expensive it is, along with all the other insanity that has ran hand in hand with Covid. I see the figures for big business are starting to come in now for 20-21 RollsRoyce 4 billion loss for example. I do think we are only just starting to see the true cost of this whole thing. As before as much as you do love a question or two or three or four don’t ask me to explain any further as I’m busy.
  16. Bill for coronavirus support tops £400bn as Rishi Sunak says UK will be paying for decades to come APPLE.NEWS Taxes to be at ‘highest sustained level in history’, warn experts
  17. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ I’m sure many will have seen similar but it’s a first for me.
  18. Total oddball piece, shame it wasn’t found a while back but still interesting.
  19. Cracking day rate that 👍
  20. I’d be over the moon to have a loader like that instead of winching up ramps on your own 🤷‍♂️. Good days output that Andy 👍👍
  21. I’ve have the mini mill as per first pic and to be honest it’s very easy to go off plumb, I’d say the second pic of the Haddon type thing would be more stable and probs give a more accurate cut. I was doing 9” cuts in Douglas using a 461 with a 20” bar over 4.8m and it was not easy going, ended up rigging a winch on end of slabs to pull the set up forward.
  22. My youngest two are unfortunately still off up here thanks to Sturgeon just wanting to be different Mark but I can tell you they are looking forward to going back big time. Even the SAGE advisory people are saying virtually zero risk involved.
  23. Super spreading has to be one of the most naff pathetic hysterical phrases to come out of this whole saga.
