  1. I don’t have a salary SP never have since leaving the army, if you are gonna make up shite numbers constantly at least get it half right. The profits/subsidies are enormous SP the money the likes of myself earn is peanuts compared to the dayrate of some of the vessels here. How is me being here doing the job I’ve been doing for years long before you daft buggers swallowed the net zero pill hypocrisy?
  2. Most of the wind/solar/tidal farms in Scotland are owned and/or financed… | Ron Smith | 51 comments WWW.LINKEDIN.COM Most of the wind/solar/tidal farms in Scotland are owned and/or financed by non-Scottish... As should you
  3. Angry man today Mark eh Just saying it how it is and the vibe/ feelings I’m getting off the one or two people I occasionally meet in my rural isolation type existence.
  4. What about the drone strikes by Putin, do you reckon they are making Trump look bad? That’s from an earlier reply I presume you missed Mark 🤷‍♂️not sure if you want an in-depth long winded analysis but that’s my thoughts on it 🤷‍♂️ 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️Quite frankly is that even a-serious question, first of all I don’t really give a toss what either Putin or Trumps visuals are. What I do know is one way or another it had to come to an end at some point. There was zero chance under the previous administration who along with the Europeans gave Ukraine enough to survive but not enough to win. Do I think the current plan is a good one, no I don’t but as I’ve mentioned on here before this war started a long time before you guys took any interest in it, the current obsession has zero to do with Ukraine and more to do with the Trump factor for most of you.
  5. A canny skill bonny lad 😂😂true Geordie Mark, . No thanks if this is the result. I saw your critical thinking come to fruition a while back when you accused me of sacrificing granny 🤷‍♂️. Anyway lot of angst today lad,you rough with the drink or something, that rambling late night post catching up maybe ? I’m ever so sorry my trusty old I phone 6 doesn’t come up to your tech expectations
  6. There’s that university education kicking in again.
  7. UK families to be '£1,400-a-year poorer by 2030' APPLE.NEWS Living standards for the poorest third are predicted to fall twice that of middle and high earners... Whilst the left obsess over Trumps every move the reality is you can see, hear and feel this already over a wide range of income levels. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced the levels of pessimism and anxiety being expressed by self employed and small business owners at a governments actions prior to the current Labour administration, looks very like those at the lower end are gonna carry the can as usual. So much for growth and the old myth of labour being the party of the working class.
  8. don't really give a toss where you live. You as I’m often told missed the point there totally Then don’t mention my rural location as part of your late night rambling response Covid is/was airborne, there is no way to measure how many peoples air you breath. I know that if light up a cigarette that the smoke will reach just about everywhere in a space. So your social interactions metric means f all. 🤷‍♂️ Presumably the same applies to the “ thousands “you meet every day. Which is pure fantasy imo. What about the drone strikes by Putin, do you reckon they are making Trump look bad? 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️Quite frankly is that even a-serious question, first of all I don’t really give a toss what either Putin or Trumps visuals are. 9. Contact ?? You should look up the average figures of actual social contacts per day Mark. You are way way off. That’s not my house.
  10. It’s not comparable is it not Mark **************** me you guys 😂 Thousands every day eh 🤷‍♂️yep and you are all talking about that period of madness and farcical behaviour, excuse me do you have “ long covid” 🤷‍♂️
  11. Since Covid working on multiple different vessels ( never mind the onshore locations) with a pob of 100-150 of all nationalities including a dive team made up of around 20 per shift so 40 guys min, in and out of various airports including Schiphol on a regular basis. Not sure if your boat thing holds any water 💧 Sorry Mark but as I’ve said before it tends not to affect the self employed imo.
  12. 😂😂😂My home is in a rural location that is correct. Please explain to me how you think my job doesn’t “in general” allow me to come into contact with many people ?? I’m genuinely curious as to how you have come to that conclusion
  13. Decipher that Mark ” a sheltered life in terms of coming into to contact with too many people “ And you used the edit facility 😞old SP will be right up your arse for that one, although I think if you are of a left wing persuasion it’s somehow ok, so maybe not.
  14. I’ve never asked anyone about income that seems to be SP’s thing not mine, and the towing capacity clarity was in response to a claim from the same member 42. You know the 3 questions I answered when you disentangled them from the waffle 👍 You see the upcoming cuts to disabled people ( which I disagree with if it’s genuine rather than idleness or long covid type shite) and government spending 42 looks like reeves is taking some inspiration from Trump and co.
  15. Actually 42 how many times did you ask those specific questions??? I’m just checking in case my figure is wrong ??
  16. Americans strongly support President Trump's effort to root out waste, fraud, and abuse in government. 77% support a “full examination of all government expenditures.” 72% agree there should be a government agency “focused on efficiency.” 70% say government is “filled with waste, fraud, and inefficiency.”24 Feb 2025 🤷‍♂️😂 You see guys it doesn’t matter what I or the ATL think, looks like the American electorate thoroughly appreciates the new administrations efforts to tackle waste.
  17. Not really 42 but in reality the fun goes out of it when you use the old covid thread technique of just asking multiple questions again and again and again. Don’t waffle shite just cut to the chase 👍
  18. Keep it simple stupid 👍👍works every time Mind you I’ve tried with your teammate and it got me nowhere.
  19. Trolling is when someone who disagrees with you posts but not when your teammates post I take it , judging by past examples.
  20. Do you think that Trump is successfully playing Putin? 🤷‍♂️specifics ?? No one is playing annyo imo, if you feel so strongly about Putin there are options. Do you think that weathermen and climate scientists, the NOAA, are just waste that needs deadwooding? Yes Do you think that it is prudent to cut funding to Public Libraries? Depends upon the circumstances, if said library is promoting LGBTQ shite towards minors for example then yes if it isn’t then no
  21. I’ve bad news for you Trump won the election, cry drip whine complain as much as you want but it can’t be undone. 😂😂
  22. 😂😂😂You can tell it’s sat night 😂😂 Big night out for the ATL just need Peds in on things and it’s a full house
  23. 3 out of 4
  24. No bragging 42 just open and honest when required . Answer questions 😂😂😂you ****************ing serious Bit like the old covid thread question question question from you guys 😂😂
  25. l😂😂SP not concerned in the slightest, and definitely not enough to even bother when you won’t even answer one simple question
