God forbid I use it to pick up my family occasionally or when a van or car is just not feasible due to weather and 4x4 is required which in rural Aberdeenshire is a lot more than you might think every winter. My 3.2 Ranger on a 68 plate has done 107k a hell of a lot of that has been towing up to 3500kg, I’ve used mine on numerous occasions during the winter to get out and about when a car or van would have been useless Please give me an alternative that will go off road with 4x4 tow 3500kg and carry a ton with a half decent level of comfort. At 6ft5 i remember how shit the old two seat hilux was. End of day it’s literally using a sledgehammer to crack an egg, for those who need them labour will screw them to the ground, others will end up with two vehicles instead of one, hardly an ideal choice.
