  1. I wouldn't ask it myself personally as I wouldn't consider it fair but it would be up to you and what you think you can afford I suppose. There might be some people very willing to do it because they have the financial backing and others may be forced to turn the opportunity down entierly or struggle financially if they do go through it because they don't have the financial backing.

    Heli Ride

    That is very cool!
  3. Excellent shots. I completed a photography course a few years ago (on the side as a hobby) and I can say that the composition, framing, saturation, hue etc is superb
  4. Hmm.. I just wonder if the job is worth the potential hassle?
  5. I think this version is better - a little more to the point. Great job.
  6. Yeah, I noticed that the older machines have gone up in price as a result too - some consolation I suppose!
  7. Definitely give Google sketch-up a go!
  8. I'm surprised - I never had any issues with my last one but wore it into the ground.
  9. Hi, I’m looking for an old workhorse Mercedes ML320 / 300 / 280 4x4. I’ll very happily consider anything from 2002/3 onwards. I'm after an auto (I think most of them are..). Diesel or petrol - not fussed. Mileage to be anything below about 100 but willing to consider anything up to roughly 105. Any exterior colour - again, not fussed. Seats in boot ideally to be removed to carry tools etc around in but I can do this myself so not a big issue. Any colour interior as long as the seats are in reasonable nick, I’d be very happy to consider. I need one ASAP so if anyone has one for sale or knows of one for sale, I’d be happy to pay about £400 over book price. Am looking at eBay etc too so I would be very grateful if you could let me know as soon as poss. Cheers!
  10. Probably literally bullet proof!
  11. A mate of mine had a 2.5l and although he hardly ever used it for towing, he found he could do it reasonably well when he did. Of course, it mostly depends on the weight of what you're towing, distance etc.
  12. Yeah, that's also an option that I hadn't thought of.
  13. Hi, new to this place but just thought to say - nice choice of vehicle. I had one for about 12 years. It wouldn't die and when I finally justified getting rid of it to myself (even though it was still passing each MOT with flying colours and broke down only ONCE in those 12 years), I sold it to a friend who is to this day still drives it. Maybe you've seen this... [ame] [/ame] My choice would be 3L - 2.5 just doesn't cut it and you'll find towing (if you ever do it) a bit harder. Cheers
