The Ukraine Mess That Nuland Made TRUTHOUT.ORG Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland engineered... From 2015. I'm still learning the Ukraine backstory. At the time I had no interest in social media and hadn't watched the news in 20 years, so it passed me by. This author is clearly partisan, but who isn't? The most disturbing thing, moreso than the possibility of nukes, is the instantaneous lockstep of nearly every politician, down to the local councilor level. It's like a ****************ing hive mind.

I wonder how young he was when he was in the young leaders program? Surely he signed up to get a seat at the table, rub elbows and network, like everyone else? Would be nice to have audio recordings of the kind of stuff that went down at the get togethers over the years...

He's had his honorary black belt revoked by the world Taekwondo Federation as well. But everyone and their uncle was in the Young Global Leaders. It was/is a corrospondence course, with annual get-togethers. Just a networking club really. The ones who showed promise were groomed further and inducted into the Shwab inner circle.

Hi, welcome. I believe in UK the timber remains the property of the landowner. If your right of way is impeded, I suppose you would have a right to clear the way, but you should leave the timber on the land from whence it came. That would be my uneducated guess But if you want firewood you can ask on here for free logs, there's a dedicated section for it.

Most of us get all our information and discussion (about everything) from the western bubble. Fact. The ultranationalist (Nazi) faction in Ukraine waged an 8 or more year terror campaign against the people of the Donbass, who are defacto Russians. Apparently they wanted them to abandon their homeland and move to Russia. The Donbass has an open border with Russia, the Donbass people have Russian passports. The speak Russian. It's part of Russia. Ukraine essentially aggressed Russian citizens. Russia backed the Donbass defense (separatists) and the west backed the Ukrainian ultranationalists. It's one aspect of this conflict, not the whole story but an important part, which our media is burying.

So, why does Putin want to "de-Nazify" Ukraine? He pointed said his problem is with the Nazis, not the regular Ukraine military and people. What did these Nazis do, and to whom did they do it, to provoke Putin's ire? I'm curious.

The "left" (whatever that means these days, but they self identify as such, so whatever) especially in America, hate Putin more than the right. The leftist media drummed the narrative for four years that Trump and Putin are co-conspirators. So it follows that "if" there is an appetite for escalation, it's coming mainly from the left... Which is weird, on it's face, because Ukraine is a right wing country. Right wingers in Ukraine bullied the Donbass people, an ethnic minority. Russia supported them. But that's ok, normal prejudice has been suspended, so says the MSM. Facebook says it's temporarily lifting it's ban on praising Nazis, so users can praise Azov Battalion. This is not a joke.

People in general just don't give a stuff about truth anymore. Everything is entertainment, drama and emotion and groupthink. There's a public appetite for Hollywood narratives, and an unstoppable propaganda machine to supply the product... Maybe it's always been this way, in one shape or form?

I think I dropped a log on the outer (telescopic) shaft. It was around six years ago, don't rightly remember.

Cheers, the first shaft got bent I think, second one the bearings rusted. Current shaft is fairly new. I'll try and grease them.

Interesting. Didn't know the Huskies were bronze. Having pulled a 131 shaft apart I can guarantee the Stihl bearings are a mixture regular sealed bearings and a kind of open race bearing. It was a few years ago and I don't remember if I attempted to grease them or not, it if I deemed it possible at the time. Wish I had kept the old shaft now, so I could check.
