That looks interesting! As for the billets I bring most of the log material home in big odd size lumps so would still need cutting down to billet stage.

My log side business is in its 2nd year going very well. My problem is processing enough wood to keep up with demand. Already had a neighbor grass me up to council over one days chainsaw use! I need to be able to process arb waste, not processor friendly stuff. A lot of the stuff I sell requires at least a 24" bar upto 36" I need a quieter alternative to the old 660. Any recommendations/experience in larger hydraulic saws? I can run off my tractor which I use for the splitter and doesn't cause noise issues. Thanks

Interesting, what issues have you had with your ST8? I have had my TR6 for must be 4 years now and not had too many major issues, bought it used.

Does anyone actually own one of these? In the market for a 8" to 10" PTO chipper Not in the market for a new one mind, never seen or heard of one in real life. So highly unlikely I'm going to find a used one I think. Interested to hear what they are like to live with if any one has one or has used one?

Has always happened regularly with my TR6. We just open the rollers with the bar and a strong arm, jam it open with a bit of 2 x 4 or similar, couple of old screw drivers and five or ten mins scraping out the crap around the gap where you can see the roller shafts and you're ready to roll again.

Grayshott Tree Services are looking for new a new team member. Current apprentice has completed his course and is now off traveling. As an apprentice you get a minimum wage, full training, PPE provided, paid holiday, paid to attended college one day per week, and tickets paid for.
