1. We run a lipa one on our 5.5t seems to be very reliable.
2. That should look very smart when finished. still should be a great bit of kit with just a standard back on.
3. That looks really good. Are you putting a body on the back?
4. Previous owner liked vos. I have had many Mog's over about the last 15 years. I have found them always to be very good off road but they do have there limits. I have found they will often get where a standard tractor will struggle and vice Versa. But generally very good. I have always found them reliable if well maintained. I get my parts from merex in Germany and can't rate them high enough. Some parts can get expensive but that's the same with lots of kit these days. They are serviced in house so can't really comment on cost. It's trying to find a competent place happy to take them on which is the tricky bit I think. Hope this helps.
5. I don't know really. Its quiet high spec and mechanically good condition cab lets it down a little so would like 22k. They do seem to fetch a lot but they are great bits of kit. Will be sad to see it go.
6. Thinking about selling my 1600 if anyone is looking.

Aspen fuels

Dose anyone know the shelf life of the aspen bio diesel? Have had a look at the web but can't seem to find a answer. Looking at it for going into a emergency diesel pump. Cheers Joe
12. I bought a budget dormer set a while ago and have been very pleased. However if you are using them in a hand drill they do bite quiet hard.
13. I went for a Moffit and love it was on hard standing in my old yard and was great now on concrete but have some drainage channels and a standard forklift gets stuck on them and is a big bump on solid tyres when loaded as nematics seem much more forgiving. Also goes out on site and it's off road capability is astonishing. Down side and it can be a real pain is its width if you have a double row of pallets you can't sneak one out to get to the back row as your then too wide to fit through the gap. You find ways around it but can get frustrating in a tight spot.
14. Yes the tree jack really is a handy get you out of trouble bit of kit. Had mine for years and had saved the day many times.
15. Iv got the larger ones and they are great really useful addition.
16. In my experience they all do it when cold or sat idling for any time. Unless it feels down on power or it doesn't clear after going off up the road I wouldn't worry about it.
17. Second heinnie are great and really good advice given by them. Buy decent gear would be my recommendations it is worth it if out for prolonged periods as generally works a lot better.
18. I have an aebi pm me what you need.
19. Didn't know if these would be of any use to any of you chaps on here open to offers. But surplus now I have a forklift. http://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/222146570166 http://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/222146578773
20. Iv always strapped them diagonally so top corner one side to bottom of the other side to stop it twisting or sliding about has always worked for me.
21. Right found some pics but can't clearly see see the extension but you can almost make it out. will get some photos up this week.
22. Ha ha. Well it's only right really. I know I have some pics when it Was on the old kubota so will dig them out to morrow if not will have to weight till I'm back in the yard in the week. I like the look of the extending arm. Has that got a internal ram powering it? Do you find it unbalances the machine or is it counterbalanced by the wider track base? Joe
23. Iv got an extension on my grab for the 5.5t works really well gives you extra hight. but it's mainly the reach that helps and keeping the timber that bit further from the cab if handling and stacking longer lengths will try and get some pics up. I have it piped as lgp Eddie says via another valve block which diverts the boom pivot circuit . As mine only has a one way beaker.
24. The moffett seems a very good compromise for a yard / site machine haven't had it long so still proving itself but much easier and quicker than lifting everything with the digger. I'll pm. But yes is the answer to your question
