I was always taught to sand diagonally across the floor depending on how level the floor is but from the pictures I can't see how level it is

I'm trained as a carpenter Sanding the floor isn't hard just time consuming, I would hire a floor sander and always work diagonally across the floor, you will also need a smaller egde sander or if you have a orbital sander that will work fine for the edges I'd look at starting with 60 or 80 grit and work through to 180. Once you have sanded it give the floor a good Hoover and then you've got the choice what varnish you use Hope it helps

Hi all I'm booked to do my cs38 in the new year and just getting my climbjng kit together. I will be going for a Yale XTC 13mm rope and a 13mm marlow split tail for a lanyard. But I need some advice on what friction cord is suitable for both any advice would be great.

I have had a quick read through it. And so much of it is common sense! We understand the risks and manage it. A code of practice is good for someone who's new to the industry, but proper training and on the job experience counts for so much now days. -
I think a lot can be learned from this the lack of training an communication!!!

Afternoon all I'm after some advice I'm looking at doing ABC Level 2 Certificate in Arboriculture iv spoken to capel manor and i can do it as distance learning. I know from reading old threads that there are a few that have done this course but does anyone have any feedback of capel manor?

When ebay used to be mainly private sellers you got some really good deals. I always shop around for the best prices and most times you can buy it cheaper away from ebay. Ebay are only worried about making money and they don't care if it's stolen goods just as long as it sells and they get their money

I wasn't sure as there is nothing in the assessment papers that says you can't. Saves me some money for the time being as I'm funding the climbing kit myself -
Good evening guys Long time reader of the forum and I have learnt so much over the last few months. I'm booked to do my cs38/39 in January an February is there anything stopping me from using a ms230 on the assessment?
