I have larch logs, cut to approx 9 inches, 230mm, supplied on a pallet, and wrapped in a net using a Posch Packfix.
1.6 cubic meters per pallet.
£70 per pallet, ex works, plus vat.
Unlimited supply.
PM me if interested.

Women on the game don't even earn that kinda money round here.
Not even the prettier ones.

Scottish climate, six months of winter, then six months of bad weather

Your mower wont be keen on that Metsa.
The ground looks real wet and heavy.
Where in the world are you?

We had frost on Saturday morning and this morning. Now she's howling and chucking down ice cold rain.
Cant beat a Scottish summer

What about a screw splitter or wood buster on a 360 or forklift/loader, to bust up the big stuff, then stick it through the processor?
No cross cutting, but probably more waste?
-
I went for a vertical 25t splitter with a winch for the oversized.
Iam very pleased with it, and it works very well, as a one man operation.
The horizontal Posch looks a good machine

Mobile plant is mobile plant, and mobile plant runs on red
-
I know your supposed to run on white but to be honest I don't know anyone that does.
Surely its mobile plant, and mobile plant can run on red, as per cranes, lorry mounted chippers, diggers etc?
-
What processor are you upgrading from?
-
Iam gonna guess £60+k

A whole load of machine for the cheddar.

Still waiting to hear from Nathan at Home Forestry on the Xylog 550 - i'll post if I ever here from him.
As the agent for Rabaud I am surprised his responses are very slow!
I wouldn't hold your breathe!
Aren't Caledonian Forestry also agents?

What a steer in real money then [cube]
How much you reckons ?

I wonder what the price difference is between this processor, [ame]
[/ame] and the splitter.I know which I'd rather have sitting in the yard

Looks like it has two eyes, you can see two red dots on the stick.
The Pilke 42 has a laser eye, and its useless at producing accurate length clogs.
Never use it.
-
It looks good in the video, shame it doesn't cut a larger diameter though
-
It's been a while since you posted this.
Can you say how many of these F80's are now working in the uk?
Did you sell your processor in the end and now just use the F80?
Mortimer said a while ago if I recall - buy graded sub 350mm roundwood for your processor, but in reality getting this delivered with no oversize seems a struggle.
F80 working in Scotland someway, past it on the back of a lorry heading North.

Ok, thanks

Get the body builder to sort it out.
The body has to be tested, forget by who, but basically to make sure its road worthy.
Think its £700ish
