  9. Sounds like u do allot of things do u climb trees or do just do arb work 😉 u make some valid points but weather a father in law or not stupid questions are not required I may add this was from a man who has never driven a mile in his life so yes laying bricks is hard work u say I beg to differ but ur entitled to your view after a 8hr shift and lots of tea and lifts to and from sight u think this is even close to contract climbing and driving long distances to and from sights the fact that as a climber u not only look after ur safety the groundsman and the public plus whatever is around u or under the tree this level of concentration required in the kind of tree work that subby climbers do well what I seem to get is not hedges and little back garden pruning it's has to be done fast safe and to a high standard with often time pressure because it's a under priced or the company has a big work load and wants the job completed in less time than it would take there employees that's why ur there i really don't think that unless u do it u would understand! Happy milling Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  10. I reckon commercial sea fishing looks pretty hard work Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  11. Spot on day rate twice 😉 not that money was the issue It was simply the question why I'm tired money motivates one to work harder and longer but the body still feels tired like I said I have no problem working hard doing two days work in one is relatively common for me it's a way to keep my customers as happy as poss when am busy and struggling for free days for them all this is irrelevant I was just bemused buy a man who has worked 8hrs a day and never driven a mile in his life asking me why I am tired Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  12. Thanks for the replies it's good to no it wasn't just me thinking it Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  13. I am a contract climber which means I expect to do long days and travel allot I don't expect to be told what a hard worker I am buy everyone hard work comes with the job if u don't like it do something else however today I returned back to my in laws as we are having to stay there while building work is done on our house i had left the house at 5.30 drove 60miles rigged our two pops one over a very busy garden bread and butter work but certainly not easy work at lunch time drove another 40 miles took down five small cycamores and logged them set off back the hundred mile drive home got back for 6.30 to my father in law who lays bricks 8till 4pm asking why I'm tired is it just me or would that wind anyone one else up Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app

  16. Done power lifting for the last 17 years I I climb at least five mostly six days a week as a freelance climber as for all the needing to be so lean and light to do tree work to a commercial speed is a load of hoarse poo I more often than not am much speedier in the tree than some lad that's half my size me being 6ft4 and 21st it's not ur size or weight it's how effective u are in the tree Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  17. Got a 562 as my lightest rear handled and love it 18 inch bar loads of power and speed great in the tree and on the ground it's a saw ya find urself not needing a bigger one for so much more than u would expect from a 60cc saw awesome Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app

  23. Never said any one was pretending but to deal with anything that's put infront of u with no prior viewing of tree or planning and always expecting the two saws u take will deal with the task or expecting a company to provide a sharp powerful appropriate bar length saw to me doesn't maybe I don't no what I'm on about but I do like to get the job done in a timely fashion not sharpen people's saws or have to say why is this running like ****! 😉 Sent from my D2303 using Arbtalk mobile app
