  1. This is a bench that I have started.
  2. Here is a few pictures,off what I build and cut up. you have got to enjoy what you do,thats the main thing. Hopefully the farm is going to drag the beech tree into the feild for me.
  3. So far the logs I have milled, I have been ok with my chainsaw mill but you wouldn't have been able to get a larger machine near them,or move the log to it.My next one for milling is a beech,which is presently in the stream at the bottom of a farmers field.
  4. I have had only one experience with leylandii and that was you soon learn how to sharpen a saw.
  5. Wouldn't it be easier to hire a person to fell them,it may work out cheaper in the long run
  6. I wouldn't be without my 3120xp,best machine I have bought.
  7. Its going under the barn when I have cut three foot billets. Going to cut up to thirty with luck. First cut is going to a woodworker to make bowls.
  8. I seized a husqvarna 135 today,I realised what had happened and straight away tuck the plug out and poured neat two stroke oil in. When home I have stripped the saw and polished the piston and liner as damage was below the ports.All back together now and running. Now to find out why it seized as it had been fine the working the last few days.

  11. You only usually find out why things are done in a said way,when its goes wrong as I have found out many times in twenty years off building models. One off the first things I learned was always cut the excess thread off bolts in critical areas, It cost 600 pounds to learn that 😂

  14. They are breeding tups on lone to eat the grass off. Spirrel.

The cables in the picture are the main Manchester to London line and the is close to them so care will need to be taken.The tree need inspecting to see if a reduction is worth wile,before a reduction of 50 percent.The tree is about 45 ft tall. if interested pm me and I will forward your phone number to the home owner.
  16. I have wood burning stove with back boiler,that I would love to use to heat the house. Could anybody point me in the right direction to fit it into my centralheatingsystem. The house has a old type system with a tank fitted with a coil. Could I use the the back boiler like a radiator in reverse?
  17. Today milling the large beech,this piece was not as good as someone pointed out.

  19. Eventually got the courage to cut into shape.here is the result.
  20. I have seen a tab for a tree house and I think you need to see your local black Smith to have them made. as these are a sliding mechanism so the tree can still move.
