  1. I bet there will be riots in the next few days....
  2. I think very few of them benefit the economy... Say you're right though, the UK is a wealthy country, should we not be charitable and give the migrants to countries that are poor? If I was in charge of immigration it would only be fit birds aged 18-30 getting in.
  3. It's only the BBC that thinks immigration is a boost to the UK.... Anyone that actually looks at the evidence will conclude that immigration does little for the economy or living standards...
  4. I've read elsewhere that the flats at Grenfel would rent for £2k a month to private tenants. It seems bizarre that we give council flats in one of the best areas of London to people that have nothing to do with the UK...
  5. Just think, in a little over a week we'll be able to celebrate the first anniversary of the Brexit vote. Anyone got anything special planned?
  6. How about anyone with £1000 or a job gets the vote? That way all the Momentum storm troopers get no vote
  7. It depends how you define "fair"? What Corbyn wants to do is tax the productive members of society so that he can give the money to the feckless and workshy. Is that "fair"?
  8. I was speaking about people starving in Africa when I made that comment... And I stand by that comment... I think there is a moral case to be made for feeding starving people in the third world. However I don't think there is a moral case to feed starving people if they then go and have ten kids and require more food for their kids...
  9. 100 years ago it was only male, Protestant landowners that got the vote. Tbh, I think there is a case to be made that only people with say over £1000 in the bank get to vote. That would mean that responsible working people get to vote and feckless people don't get to vote....
  10. Tbh, one of the bad things about our democracy is that people that don't contribute get to vote. I think there is an argument that people that don't work etc shouldn't vote.... As it is people vote for Corbyn as they want "free money" from the people that get up each morning to go to work
  11. We were told that a Brexit vote would lead to immediate economic turmoil! It was clearly a remoan lie! A drop in the £ is brilliant for exporters... The UK can't do a trade deal with Australia as we are in the EU...
  12. The fact remains that we were told a Brexit vote would lead to immediate economic disaster.... It clearly hasn't happened.
  13. Yeah, I'm still waiting for George Osborne's emergency budget. I also thought a Brexit vote would lead to a sudden recession? The remoan side told the biggest porkies.
  14. How good would it be if we had freedom of movement with Australia and Canada? They both speak English and have a good lifestyle. Having freedom of movement with places like Romania and Poland is rubbish for Brits as wages there are pitiful and we don't speak the language. Come on Thersesa, get a trade deal and freedom of movement with Australia, and I'll be able to strut about Australia's beaches in my budgie smugglers!
  15. If the UK has nothing to offer the EU they will be glad to see us go... However we contribute a net £12 billion a year to the EU. Have a massive trade deficit with Europe. We have the lions share of Europes fishing grounds. We have millions of EU migrants in the UK as there are no jobs in their own countries. British pensioners are a real economic boost in the likes of Spain. We have Europe's best military (useful when the Russians are playing up). I hope we get a hard Brexit.
  16. I can't see May getting a good deal from the EU with such a feeble majority. I think we should just go for hard Brexit and go to WTO trade rules. Then get rid of the Human Rights Act and start deporting terrorists. Then we also start deporting all the East European "Big Issue" sellers. Happy Days!
  17. On the plus side Alex Salmond and Nick Clegg lost their seats We need Nigel Farage back in charge of UKIP to rescue us all.
  18. Don't kid yourself that my opinions are extreme...my opinions are fairly mainstream nowadays...
  19. I think Corbyn is a "marmite" character - you either love him or hate him. I don't think you should underestimate how many people Corbyn turns off... I think politics is all about playing to the middle ground...
  20. A lot of Tory supporters paid £3 to join the Labour party to vote for Corbyn as leader. Why do you think they did that? Corbyn hardly has a lot of support amongst his own MPs.... The tories have been in power for 7 years. Why have they not sold the NHS off in this time? Is it because they don't want to?
  21. However the jihadis themselves think they are acting under religious instruction? If it's not religion making Muslims go on killing sprees what is it? Hindus from India arrived in Britain at the same as the Muslims. Yet Hindus do not commit terrorist attacks?
  22. Amen to that! Imagine you moved to Saudi. Would you suddenly believe women shouldn't drive? Would you suddenly believe homosexuality was wrong? Would you suddenly believe stoning people to death was right? I don't think someone's core beliefs can be easily changed. We think giving migrants a Western passport magically gives them a Western belief system - it clearly doesn't. The best we can hope for is they stick to their part of the world and we stick to ours.
  23. IMHO, extremist Islam is the biggest threat facing the West today. It's an even bigger threat than global warming. Yet we have politicians that seem to ignore the problem and tell us "love is stronger than hate". If we want Western civilisation to continue we will have to admit there is a problem and act accordingly. It's time to start deporting people with a belief system that is fundamentally opposed to Western beliefs.
  24. Three terrorist attacks in the last three months. Another 5 thwarted by the security services in the same time period. We've got to accept we are at war. It's time we started interning all the extremists and stopped listening to the do gooders.
  25. Lol, are you mutley9050?
