  1. You will need the patience of a saint!
  2. Yeah, I thought it had chilled out on here again
  3. It's a Santa Cruz Tallboy carbon 29er, 2016. Can't wait.
  4. Cool Pete, that sounds like fun!!
  5. That's cool woodworks, it's great fun and keeps you fit. Yes it is a 29er woodworks, I love it , it rolls along well and I don't find it hard to handle. I have just ordered a new full suspension 29er also for the rougher stuff, 4 weeks to wait though:(
  6. Well I have had 2 good rides this week, 1st was a good ride out along Whitbarrow Scar, it's a techy climb that leads to a huge limestone playground. I then went along the top of the scar which has lots of good decents and techy assents, I dropped down at the end into Witherslack woods and had a couple of laps of the woodland trails. 25k. Today I went out with the Mrs and little lad for a gentle ride to Stavley where the Mrs and lad went on the play park while I had a quick blast up into Kentmere and hit an awesome downhill trail in HP woods, well the woods have been clear felled leaving a very open techy decent, big boulders and ledges, made even more difficult because it's in the wet. Then on to Wilfs cafe for a well earned lunch before heading home. 30k done. I'm having the day off on Tuesday as I'm going to Whinlatter trail Center for some Forrest trails with a mate, I have also entered a big event up in Fort William in September called Tour De Ben Nevis, 68k MTB endurance race. So I need to get training!!
  7. Get a new 230 VTR Johnny, I love mine!!
  8. If the asbestos in the classrooms doesn't get them the laurel will😏
  9. I had one only used it a few times, the lads preferred to drag or carry the brash and chuck it into the chipper rather than load the trolley, drag it and then unload it again. I know plenty of lads on here love them but it wasn't for us so was sold.

  17. Brilliant machine, Phil said you had got one, it's good that people are sticking with a brand, you had a 150 VTR as did I, this is in a different class though..works well as a tow behind too.

    Tipper ram

The pipe from my tipper ram to the pump blew today, I went and got another pipe made up and put it on and filled the tank up with oil. When I press my tipping button the pump works for a few seconds before the ram works, I guess that's now got air in?? How do I bleed the Ram?
  20. Good idea, I wonder why such a heavy duty pice of machinery didn't have something like that from the start?
  21. Get a tipping body on it and it would be cool!
  22. Trade it in for an HB20 mate;)
  23. It's a poor design IMO, the bandit is a better design cutting wheel and shaft IMO. Hope you get it sorted Scott. On a more positive note I've had the 230 chipping a huge Birch today and I was chucking whole limbs in and it boshed them no bother. It sounds awesome too!!
  24. The exact same thing happened to my mates, his was about 20hrs old too. It's a bit of a big to do, you need to loosen the taper lock and move it back, proper pain.
  25. I need to check out gisburn as I was there in March doing a days chipping and it looked a good place.
