  2. Nice to see an old lwb seies landy earing its keep i love them! Simplicity in itself! If it breaks you can fix it with spanners none of this laptop and electrical sensor rubbish that baffles old school cutters!
  3. I stand to be corrected here bob but i think the tranfer boxes are the same on the 77 box and the 38?? Did your setup take much fitting?
  4. Yeah i am keeping all options open i just liked the idea of my land rover and logsplitter being a self contained unit, mobile logsplitter!
  5. Cheers bob any idea where i can get one and do they take much fitting? I,m thinking of having spool valve out the back and making a bracket so the logsplitter can be attatched to the towbar.

Righto now that some thieving b@@@@@d has helped themselves to the hydraulic power pack i run my logsplitter with i,m thinking of fitting a hydraulic pump to my landrover td5 130 ive got a belt driven pump with a magnetic clutch but its made for v belts and the vehicle is a flat belt, anybody done anything like this???
  7. Ive done 23 yrs on a prussik never tried anything else, but i,m old scool, cantankerous and fear the unknown! Change is bad! I really should kick myself up the arse and try something new it might just revolutionize my climbing! Haha

  15. It only did this before it died, the saw ran fine up until 5 minutes before this sequence of events happened? I,m no saw doctor ive been in this game 23 yrs and apart from the odd starter spring or clutch spring going or exhaust rattling loose ive been really lucky with saws
  16. Prior to seizeing it was running lumpy and cut out a few times took longer to restart than normal then revved really hard and locked up

  19. Cheers spud, i had intended to buy one of those hyway barrels and pistons off ebay and fit that but if you think just a piston and ring will do it thats the way i,ll go

I seized an ms200 about 6 months ago due to cheap crap two stroke from the petrol station when i got caught short on a job, ive just been pottering in the shed and took a look at it, whipped the starter panel off put a spanner on the flywheel and it turned???? Starter panel back on fresh fuel in and after much coughing and spluttering its running again???? Albeit a bit lumpy, any explanations?? Should i still put a pot and piston in it as i intended? Or just see how it goes???
