  1. We own an ST6...great machine!!! Had a demo of the 8" tracked Forst....all I can say is its on the shopping lost for next year!!!
  2. Set a frame up to hold 2 bags side by side...them tip the box over them?
  3. Hmmm....going to look into this for when I split next years wood....been so busy this year we've had to keep clearing the rubbish to keep the yard tidy...and paying to go to a green waste centre!!!! I like the paper bag ideas as lighters...or I'll just heat my own house with it!...or even small net bags as "complimentary" natural kindling for customers?
  4. Hi, when I first purchased mine I checked everything...found that the pipe that feeds the chain goes under the machine. At the tank end it was pinched against the chassis with cable ties/other pipes...hope this helps...???
  5. 8. Can you tell me what hardwood it is please....then you list every tree that you could have taken down (and I still don't think they know what the trees are! lol)
  6. PM sent....again good luck in the future....Steve
  7. Just had the same 5 mins ago....new customer...ooo, really...it is close to Christmas...will have to get back to you...me: no problem at all madam, but we do always sell out and have a Christmas shut down...let me know when your ready and I'll see if I can get to you or have any left...lol Another time waster!!!!!
  8. Mine come with a nice frosty white glow...lol

  10. Love it!!!! Made me laugh...telling me you don't wash all your logs before you sell them!?? Lol
  11. Seems to be full of time wasters this week!!!???
  12. Forst: 3 years parts And labour warranty...that why we went for it....plus it's a brute of a machine!!!!
  13. That's a very good point...when I was first looking I found nice looking/good condition chippers...however most of them didn't comply with H&S ie, stop bars missing (some old ones don't have them) and had a dusting of new paint that made them look nice!!!!
  14. We started with a second hand TW125, great machine, with a Honda engine. It's a starting place, let it earn it's money, then move up to a bigger machine...anything it doesn't chip keep as log, sell it and use that for funding...we did and it worked!
  15. We had a demo of a 635...great machine...I want it...just got to justify it...hopefully soon!!!! I started looking at the 420, but a lot of people suggest the 520 or 635...better lift and flow on the hydrolics...it's a hard choice...only one that you want to make once!
  16. If you buy a Timberwolf etc (not sure on other makes) you can phone up Timberwolf to check the serial numbers to make sure it's not stolen...well worth doing, and their very helpful!
  17. Had a demo on it...we have a forst 6" wheeled. The 8" was just as impressive...but I've never used a jenson, so can't compare...but built to last!
  18. Blimey...I new horses were expensive!!! Lol We're does it end eh!?
  19. Now taking bookings for January 2015....please contact for available dates...
  20. Ah....but I'm sure that's only if you are employed on a full time basis doing that job...ie driving all day...if you or your guys are employed mainly doing tree work/yard work etc...and on an occasional basis..ie 2 days a week (non fixed) drive it is exempt? I and a friend enquired with that advise given....
  21. That is a great trailer....same with mine...when empty the crane is stretched out.... agree...if only we had it sooner....lol
  22. Cheers....its been earning its keep! lol
  23. Hmmm..... just about right.....lol
