  1. Happy you got legal expenses cover on any of your insurances? This can sometimes assist with neighbour disputes. Call them, explain the problem and see what they say. They may be able to send a strongly worded letter which may convince your neighbour to sort their life out.
  2. Slamming balls in a door is a Friday afternoon job, and entirely at our own risk.
  3. Monkey puzzle tree escapes axe - Wales Online WWW.WALESONLINE.CO.UK THE saga of Swansea’s “dangerous” monkey puzzle tree...
  4. Nothing's as old as Brexit. I only posted the story because I was looking at the TPO app that the original poster was talking about. He cited Andy Sherlock (Barrells) so I went Googling to find out their context. The Mail article was the first one to pop up. Also on BBC and local rags. Can't find the outcome though!
  5. 150-year-old Monkey puzzle tree facing chop because health and safety say its needles are 'like syringes' | Daily Mail Online WWW.DAILYMAIL.CO.UK A 150-year-old monkey puzzle tree is facing the chop after health... Even the Daily Mail had a pop!
  6. The tree is also a serious Health and Safety risk, the dangers posed by the fallen needles of Chilean Pine/Monkey Puzzle trees - a matter highlighted by Swansea Council, who subsequently employed an expert, Andy Sherlock, who has over 22 years experience (Arboricultural Consultant), who "likened the effect of the needles to being pricked by a hypodermic syringe" and thus who supported felling. ‘Every effort must be made to prevent children coming into contact with these potentially, equally sharp needles, and warned they pose a probable risk of serious injury to children.” Sweep them up.
  7. I think it's a bit slower to hit this year than previous (Hampshire). Definitely there though.
  8. That's not a positive note. Olives are akin to engorged ticks and should be incinerated for biosecurity reasons. I have no doubt that Xylella fastidosa was knocked up by someone who knew what they were doing, for the greater public benefit ?
  9. But the house could get catapulted into space by heave. Need to snip off 10% of the leaves once every couple of weeks, at night, so the tree doesn't realise and the ground stays flat.
  10. This is verging on hawrassement now.
  11. This register,... Could that simply be the planning admin system of choice? If not, what would it look like? What should the headings be?
  12. Reckon that's ash but with some of the bark off and other bits discoloured by lichens and mosses etc.
  13. Daedaleopsis confragosa / blushing bracket

    Ticks away!

Collect them up when they're engorged and pretend that they're olives, but tastier.
