    While we were clearing out some bushes for the local county court we found what must have been over 20 used syringes. It was unbelievable how many were under there!

    We are looking for an experienced freelance climber to work alongside our regular team. CS30, 31, 38, 39, are required CS 41 and b+e driving entitlement are a bonus and will be reflected in the rate. Excellent rates of pay for the right candidate. The type of work that will be undertaken will be mainly high quality reductions, dismantles, the overseeing of more technical clearances/ fells and the odd smaller job.     One last thing that was high up on my list when considering my options was price. A small tracked loader is almost half the price of an articulated wheel loader. If the OP is just starting out with mechanical help it is a much smaller step financially speaking.

    Cheaper, smaller, 0 turn, more pulling/pushing power for the size and easier to get on and off quickly. Horses for courses.

    Or one of the low hour recon 150ld's that Global get in periodically. Brilliant value and they are just in another league when it comes to chipping capacity, through put and build quality.

    You can get it at 36 inch with narrow tracks or 42 with wider ones. I went for the wider ones for more stability. You can change but I have not found it to be an issue.

    I thought I would post a few photos of our sk755 as they are not as common place as other machines out there doing tree work. In my opinion it is an incredible machine for the price and Ditch Witch's customer service has been top notch. They have sorted a few tweaks that we wanted like the quarter inch plate at the front instead of a grill, a bollard for the quick attachment of ropes for pulling and the toe hitch. They really bent over backwards to sort out a demo and have been incredibly professional in all our dealings with them. They have also been very prompt when sorting parts as and when needed.

    The 562 actually has a max recommended bar length of 28"! [emoji15] that seems a bit large considering the 560 is 20"!

    True, I see a big difference in the type of work out there and the standard of service/ quality of the finished product. If you want your guys to be smart, polite and actually capable of undertaking an aerial rescue and then administering first aid to someone suffering from what could be severe trauma (that someone also could well be you) then you have to offer more than rock bottom pay.

    Also, tracked machines work better in confined spaces, for their size lift more, are cheaper for their lifting capacity and simpler and more robust. We have a stack of boards that we take to turn on and as long as you plan your route the tracks have low ground pressure so the damage is minimal. Horses for courses really. Also we can get a HB20, our ditch witch on a 10x5 tipping trailer and have room for a couple of bulk bags of takings,that is pretty useful. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
