  1. I have a 35 year old cd2100 husky its just under 2stone and a 99cc .I do most of my blocking with a 550xp husky with a 18 inch toony bar ,as i dont do a lot of big stuff .my smallist saw is a ms181 with a 12 inch qaurter tip bar , good luck mate

  4. Hi Ryan , I think if you are using a carving bar on your saw you can do 90% of finishing with it apart from a bit of burning and sanding, good luck mate
  5. I use a makita gd0600 6 mm col, cost £88 I use it for eye burning bit and some burrs good tool , hope it helps mate.
  6. Does have a nice shape to it, wheather looks ok to.

  8. My 2100 cd 99cc Chainsaw. This saw had a few problems and needed a good tidy up.. Its running well now. If anyone has this make of saw for spares for sale, please pm me.

  15. Hi kev I would look back into the old threads I am sure splinters started a thread on what tools carvers use on site .I would start with carving bar on smallish saw mine is ms 181 and ms 211 stihl , play with mushrooms owls and carve carve carve good luck mate.
