  3. I was asked to carve a robin for a customer.
  4. it took about 5 hours it was a little tricky around the windows, enjoyed making it, and now I know most models of vw camper vans because of this carving. RAY:thumbup1:

  7. Hi Tommy I was asked to do the show , I charged £300 for the day ,there were 22000 people att:thumbup1:ended.I also displayed about 20 carvings .it was good to meet u and see your great work when u were at the wood yard did u get sorted with the oil and sprayer , Ray
  8. Several coats later and cleaned up.
  9. Hows about 4 overlapping hearts in a row with the no 4 on the first one , by the way number 4 is my lucky number , is that my table .

  15. If you look for Rob D or Chainsawbars ? chainsaw chains, chainsaw bars and chainsaw accessories he will sort u out with the gear to go onyour saw. Ray

Hi forest I started with a ms 181 with a 12" quarter tip bar plus quarter sprocket -chain you can do most stuff with it and add to kit if you get into it more ,a burner for your shadowed areas and a wire brush to take the bur off, a drill and sanding wheel to bring up your highlights, I would just start with smallish log 8" dia , just srew it down to another log one each side to a good working hight to save ya back. Goog luck
