  1. I remember doing that years ago when I first started in the woods. But we didn't have the ropes:thumbdown: we got ladder up to the first good branch then that was us for the day just swinging tree to tree Seem to remember it was great fun some views when you broke through the canopy

This sounds like a case off as long as you's are still doing the job then no problems found And it will continue until yourself and the rest of the team say enoughs enough stop and flag the problem right up the to the top. We had same sort of problem different situation but it soon got it sorted when we all said no on health and safety grounds.

  9. I've managed ok with a MS290 just got to take your time, so I mite be heavyer but you'll spend less time milling.
  10. Well done on the relocation it can be hard to justify all the time checking every tree but I would preferrer to take a bit longer on the recon than spend it relocation that said you can't see everything so well done once again( how do you think you miss it this time so others don't )

  12. You could also contact local fc office if your only looking for smallerloads I did this and would get a couple of wagon loads every month would also get offered cheap loads to clear sites at end of contracts. Don't get if you don't ask
