  1. OK it may not be all that suitable for dwarves but I'd rather pull a lever than push a few hundred kilos about... High ho!
  2. Why should businesses be (as I see it) penalised for doing well? Or does it work for most of you!
  3. Damn right you do! So Speak to @equip4ind ?? & up your game, it beats paying staff ? Then we can start a wee dumper club & stop hijacking the wee chipper topic ??
  4. If it makes my life easier & work day quicker - I'm on it. You can't beat tracks lad!... + I might have a bit of a tracked fetish ?? ps anyone over 40 needs a motorised dumper ?
  5. I couldn't disagree more Steve, I've had my peruzzo coming up to a year now and it's won me loads of work where you would need loads of bodies dragging and it's got into and out of places you really wouldn't get any other chipper. Massive thumbs up for this bit of kit ? so for me the advantages of a tracked machine far out weigh those of a push machine + who wants to push a few hundred kilos about unloading, manoeuvring & loading up etc when you can just effortlessly pull a couple of levers. The only thing it needs is expanding tracks! ? ?
  6. Rayco rg1625 absolute pain in the yarris...
  7. Hia mate, might get you in for a couple of days if you've got your rigging ticket (sorry can't remember) & you could take some chip home with you! ? all ash, sycamore & beech with the exception of two conifers
  8. Fantastic, will do. Cheers ? ?
  9. Hi Steve, spot on thanks ? SA31 1TQ
  10. Hi guys, got a clearance job in Carmarthen coming up, can anyone point me in the direction of somewhere to tip some chip? Cheers
  11. Welcome Clint, it really comes down to horses for courses. If you won't be using it x amount of hours 5 days a week & it saves you money on hiring + if you have the time to chip each small branch / twig then go for the cheaper option. The difference in pro / commercial spec is output, time saving & durability / longevity. The cheap eBay jobby may last you years & years but it wouldn't last a month with me! ?... horses 4 courses lad ?
  12. Thanks for the link guys, unfortunately my local centre has nothing available atm. Cheers
  13. The drop down panel on the hopper looks like a real ballache?!
  14. I agree, the only downside to the peruzzo is that the engine for the tracks isn't electric start! On the early gm chippers you had to pull a lever to tighten the drive belts for the flywheel... Bloody awful machines (the early ones!)
  15. Hi, can anyone point me in the direction of a training & assessment centre in south West Wales that does first aid courses & also pedestrian mowers tickets. Cheers
  16. Fair play she looks ace! Would like a hilux but it's all money, think I need to up my game with my mk1 ranger, a respray for starters! ?
  17. Marvelous, so glad to see you've (finally) found your happy pills this morning ??
  18. You obviously feel threatened by the peruzzo, your insecurities are shining bright (green) but I guess it must suck to realise you missed a massive gap in the market. Oh & stop copying the 'just sayin' bloody hypocrite ? ?
  19. I'm half thinking about keeping mine in the kitchen! ? ? ? ?
  20. It was nice work, made easier with a fantastic machine! Which is an original, an original Peruzzo! If you were talking about forst I could understand your bravado but it's not a GreenMech mate - it's better! Would you want to push a cs100 where I take my peruzzo?! On your own that is or have to pay more in wages for extra manpower and become less competitive... Aspen fuel was used in the 'dumper' engine btw, so put that in your pipe n scmoke it! ? ???
  21. Doh, blame jack Daniels! A million apologies & a thousand camels to you squire...
  22. Not if you use a small plant /digger trailer. I have seen specially made tilt bed trailers for tracked machines, if you're going to do it might as well do it right.
  23. Got to say, I was guilty of this recently! ? @equip4ind
