  7. That's what my plan was. Although I have the quals I have no experience.
  8. I have no problem spending as its what I want to do. Just shocked when I looked at my list of less than 40 items it was a four digit total. That's not including chipper, stump grinder, trailer and arb truck (heart set on landy 😃)
  9. I think my wallet will hurt long after my arms recover. Just made a list of everything I need. 😢
  10. That draws a close to week three. And I'm shattered. We covered climbing, secondary anchors, branch walks and throwbags and rescues. We also liked at some different climbing systems which was interesting
  11. Try TreeId by isoperla. It has a picture a young Alder on the edge of some water. It's £2.49 and has 44? Main species then some are broken down into different variants. Also TreesUK. Not sure on price as I have it ages. It give a bit of historical uses for the timber to so quite interesting
  12. Try FR Jones http://www.frjonesandson.co.uk/products-page/climbing-equipment/harnesses1/childrens-harnesses/
  13. My legs and arms have stopped working, and my abs are killing. Greatest respect to those who have been climbing for years
  14. I took the gloves off 5' off the ground. I was getting annoyed with getting them caught
  15. Only trapped my little finger in the prussic once so not a bad morning
  16. I took out a second line for my fiancé, with a new phone. Waited in for delivery, but they put the postcode where the house number should have been. So it was a 25mile round trip to pick up the new phone. Funny old thing, my bill turns up every month without fail.
  17. Buy another set or two. Rotate them to give them chance to dry.
  18. First day of work experience last week was interesting. The client had organised other work which meant the felling couldn't take place. So we started the business studies. 2 days work experience this week was good. Saw a hydraulic stump grinder in action, looks easier than wresting the pedestrian one we used. Start climbing tomorrow.
  19. Sorry to derail. (Good luck with the build) but for your consideration, the most evil thing in the world. The 3pin Lego plug!!
  20. Snap 😃
  21. Could it be dug up and moved somewhere else in your garden? It'll save it getting cut down completely
