  1. In a nut shell: NO! Doesn't matter if it's bio degradable or not. No oil vapour in vaporised form is healthy to your inhalation!
  2. This position is now closed. Thanks for all enquiries.
  3. Hi all, What nozzle do the majority use for spraying tree stumps with Round up Pro Biactive? Thanks
  4. Waffling a bit - it's got a lifting capicity of 1600kg and straight pull of 2400kg
  5. Draper hand winch, had mine for a while now. Used it for retaining windblown stumps, pulling a stuck tracked chipper out of a deep ditch, assisted fells and so on. Not let me down so far. £120 complete with 20m cable and spare shear pins. Rated to 4.5t straight pull if I remember correctly
  6. We require a competent Utility Arb with a good level of common sense, who is just as good on the ground, as in the tree, to join our company - G R Lewis Arboricultural Contractor Ltd. You will able listen, understand and carry out felling and climbing operations, but at the same time know when to ask for help/advice. The following units are a must: CS30.1,31,38,39 & 40 UA1,2.1.2.3 First aid with Forestry, CS & UA units must be in date. Any other tickets and being able to tow would be greatly appreciated. 7. Hi, I cut plenty of ash and would be able to provide ash poles to the specified diameters & length. Only issue would be the time period it would take to gather that much for the client. If the clients happy to wait, I'm happy to start cutting
  8. G R Lewis Arboricultural Contractor Ltd Full time Work – up to 40 hours plus over time per week, with a good hourly rate of pay, employees on PAYE. A full time position has arisen within our business based in West Felton for a keen climber and a chainsaw operative to join our existing cutting team undertaking a nice variety of arboricultural operations. 9. Evening all, Anybody around Shropshire got any bits of sawn timber that I could make into a telly stand for our new house? Thanks
  10. Thanks for the feed back, gone down another route on the log splitter front
  11. Anybody got any experience of these log splitters?
  12. Hello, I don't think you will have much success tbh. We have a double cab pick up and our Brittax rear facing baby seat only just fit in at a squash, we have just upgraded the little mans seat to a Brittax forward facing seat, which he now has plenty of room to kick his little feet about. But again the seat does take up quite a lot of room! Hope this helps?
  13. Best course of action is to talk to the tree officer who covers the area that your woodland is in. A site visit is probably best, so the tree officer can see what your intentions are and then they can advise accordingly. Hope this helps.
