  1. Buddy I can get things from stateside in 10 days lol........it all depends the shipping system ya use and how it shipped. Don't use the basic USPS you'll wait eons and get hosed
  2. There is a quirk bout the states .......Made in the USA sticker doesn't mean it actually is made there ..........and that I argue with anyone on.......
  3. Answer to that is basically no buddy customs will get ya Also US homeland won't let ya on the plane with it
  4. Stuby got it spot on it depends where in the US you buying it from what ya will get. Also remember octane levels in the states are different to here. My saws are all US lol but I live there (well not at the mo lol) The specs on some are slightly different on some kit and they won't have the ce mark so you might find that some places over here if ya working commercially might have a hissy fit going on what I read bout the current rules here. If your gonna buy from the states (yup saws etc are cheaper) buy from the East coast not the west (CA are nuts bout everything lol) you will get hosed with import and taxes but there is a way past that lol (which I'm not typing here lol) Also be careful as at the moment there is alot of fakes being imported into the states and folks are trying to get shot of them......I'm not saying your gig is just be aware of that They look the same until you lift the covers of. Shipping from stateside is cheaper if you only buy the head not the wiggle stick as well their postal system is a bit different to here. If you use a courier then they will usually offer customs clearence facilities my advice use it or the chappies here might .........age it for ya but hey what do I know lol if ya want more info or where to buy stateside holler and I'll try to advise lol
  5. If it a homelite might be nearer 40:1
  6. I'll village people ya :lol:I'll plant one of my caulks in your rear end......spiked side first that'll test your ppe :lol::lol:
  7. Oh I do have a 365 lol and a few others lol bad luck with the 372 it is a good saw byt if you wanting the new kit go for it but you'll have to import the 562 best of luck
  8. I have one stateside and it as hard as nails buddy but maybe I'm just the lucky one lol.......the 562 you won't get here tho
  9. There isn't any wonder stuff just wonder prices and fancy names lol I've logged and fallen timber stateside for nearly 30 years and honestly the only thing that waterproof is human skin lol. well my jeans and chaps are but that more due to the oil and crap that impregnated them lol ......wife hates washing em it chokes the washer filter lol. My advice go with what ya got ppe wise chaps are cheaper and don't be fooled by the names you see advertised like alsaska yukon etc etc as trust me I know a few guys up there and have never seen any of them wearing it lol
  10. Well done buddy and well done to mum too won't suggest names as they'd be to North American
  11. eddie your right buddy I posted something similar to what you just said (i think I did lol) new things take time to get the glitches worked out sometimes years sometimes never I'll stand by Husky they never let me down ......sometimes ya gotta growl at them but in the end they come thru. If ya buy the latest then imo you might expect things not to be 100% if ya want that buy tried and tested just my stupid opinion tho
  12. truck drivers on 66 in the south ........they'd shoot each other lol lol lol
  13. I'm sure you feed your saws cider lol:lol::lol:
  14. red lol you talking bout Johnny reds?
  15. How the hell did ya break a 372??? what you do with saws buddy you fuel em with cider rather than gas lol???
  16. Lol they should add saw launching damage to the warrranty imo esp the 560 the 562 is better but really if ya really gonna work a saw and depend on it then imo buy the tried and tested which don't have the bells and whistles aattached .....oh and don't require and attached parachute lol
  17. That for sure......you think it bad here .....back home I've seen fist fights with guys arguig between husky and stihl lol
  18. It prob will last longer and do the job as not so many bells a whistles lol......Mac used to be a power name stateside hence husky bought them to eliminate the competition. They also own poulan and a few others too in the home user bracket. don't launch the mac lol the warranty won't cover bent things due to launching lol........the 560's will for obvious reasons lol
  19. Must be just the UK as stateside husky are real good.......I wonder if it has to do with volume of sales???
  20. ya should off taken his windshield out and let him experience the fierceness lol
  21. It just slows us down really and seen to many sob's chair I guess it just me lol would rather be in doug fir or fraser fir lol bigger and nice timber
  22. yup to true buddy:thumbup:
  23. seconded ...........you be better off borrowing the pants lol
  24. When we put timber on the ground tho that's mainly it sometimes we have to buck it but generally it just lay to the lead it the yarding crews prob to get em out lol .......we'll put down on average 50 - 60 a day each depending on terrain and conditions and how many freaking snags or bloody alders are in the way.........I hate cutting alder they arethe worst for chairing blowing out and are always leaners in everyway but straight lol When we get back if any you guys wanna come over that be cool and see the different methods etc
