  1. insurance inspector failed my helmet for having a sticker and my name written on the brim in tiny letters. The sticker was a site induction one too ! Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
  2. Seen loads of these saws in garden centres round here. Dobbies etc. I bought mine knowing it was a cheap saw and it does what I need it to do. Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2

  4. Just got a bottle of Tulibardine 1993 retail is £44 bottle. Can recommend it highly ! Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
  5. Yep pushed mine a little more. And recoil popped out inside. Wound it back up and all okay. £4.99 for a new one if it breaks so can't complain. Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
  6. Well today I'm knackered. Been thinning out orchard at parents farm where some pine and beech trees were choking the fruit trees. Was only about 12 trees to remove. Biggest being 16" dia. Put about 8 tanks through the "gs2500" top handle. did fair bit on spikes. Also put about 7 tanks through the "gs5200" saw seems to be holding up okay. I tested the chain brake and it works at full tilt. Had the old man out as well using his stihl 009.! (bought in 1985!) Plenty logs to split now! Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
  7. had people pretend to.be from hse before. Ask for ID and call local office to check genuine. Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
  8. There are loads of companies that can do grid connection. Power company rates are horrendous ! Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
  9. I can install a 3.0MW wind turbine for you, retail is roughly £2Million but you would need to sort out your own infrastructure!
  10. Bulk LPG is very expensive.! Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
  11. I would try get drawings from power company too. They are free and if you dig up a cable that is not on their drawings you have that as ammo against them. Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
  12. My contract states 40hrs but as soon as I work more than that I automatically sign my self out of working time directive. If I want to comply to working time directive I have to give company 12 weeks notice. UK is exempt from working time directive. I work 60hrs week most weeks ! Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
  13. UK is exempt from working time directive ? If you work the hours you automatically sign yourself out I think. Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
  14. I hear what you are saying. Ill let you know when I break it ! Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
  15. I was in Dobbies Garden Centre and noticed that they have a green 35cc version of the saw on their shelfs retailing at £120 with 16" bar.
  16. I could always pull out the old Stihl 08s...
  17. Not used it yet as been working day job. But did fill with fluids and fire it up. Primed bulb few times, one pull on choke and one pull no choke and it was alive. Sounds good and oil pump working. I only paid £74 delivered so even cheaper and inferior than your estimate ! If I sell 3 cubes I'm happy its paid! Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
  18. Yeah box says same as website. 49cc
  19. Its dead easy to sort out, you can do it online if you have had a recent passport. Or just fill in a form.
  20. This type of system is being enforced on wood pole lineman; Chokestraps But we did not use a backup, it was our only fall arrest. But similar idea to what you suggest.
  21. I would go for confident baby steps, I was taught on the lines to do 3 small steps, then a flick of pole belt. But trees are different game! All I can suggest is to take your time and make sure you have spike adjusted correctly and they are comfortable, the number of people that complain of them hurting but are just badly adjusted is unreal. Haix boots have served me well over the years and I can recommend them.
  22. Saw purchased from UK retailer. Large logging chainsaw 49.7 cc - 2.1 bhp Conforms to all UK and Euro regulations. And has a warranty.
  23. Yep if 4b has expired, the licence has too. Your entitlements are still valid but licence is not. Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
  24. That is just an advert for stihl. If there are so many millions of them out there on the market and in peoples sheds, And they are death traps, where are the fatalities ???? aldi sold a chainsaw for £99 not that long ago! Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
  25. Death trap in what way ? Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
