  1. I don’t know the history of the machine unfortunately. Crankshaft is out and all looks fine. Can’t see any damage. Thinking may be the wrong crank, can’t find any reference to the number 4159 031 1600 A so no further forward.
  2. The flywheel side is the PTO side on these, clutch bolts to the flywheel. The bearings looked ok when I slid the pot off for a peek.
  3. I thought that, there is an engine change over when looking for parts but the crank and flywheel are the same part numbers throughout. I need to fully strip it and see what’s going on.
  4. I have a KM94 that’s had me scratching my head a fair bit. Has compression. Has a nice spark, but won’t fire or even pop. Went through a whole range of options before I got there, bad flywheel?, bad key? Eventually realised that the timing is way off. Still haven’t worked out quite how it’s ended up like it is. Rouge one on the left, working on the right, both at TDC. I can only guess the crank has spun on itself???
  5. FR Jones now really good for Stihl and Husky online, depends what you're looking for.
  6. I asked a similar question a while back and have since used
  7. Couple of clues here https://www.facebook.com/MisterSolutionsLtd Hope they get sorted out
  8. A disco commercial van is a 'car derived van' and you van happily do 70 on a dual carriageway A road. The legislation doesn't mention tax or use, it just says cars, motorcycles and car derived vans. I think the grey area comes with something like a Merc Vito where the floor pan is c class car. I use one at work so always consider it 'car derived'😀
  9. I've had a couple like this. They can over speed if the blades are worn or the air is blocked, and the result is the con rod gets bent.
  10. No big secret, but after a lot of internet searching I found the Combitools Workshop Manual and it is the only place i found it, im happy to share where but don't want it taken down.
  11. He does the cheaper stuff but also some very good stuff ie Meteor which is excellent quality.
  12. I'm about to make an adapter, I'll measure the plug when I do.
  13. Yep, just meant how to tell which we're the better carbs. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
