  1. I don’t know the history of the machine unfortunately. Crankshaft is out and all looks fine. Can’t see any damage. Thinking may be the wrong crank, can’t find any reference to the number 4159 031 1600 A so no further forward.
  2. The flywheel side is the PTO side on these, clutch bolts to the flywheel. The bearings looked ok when I slid the pot off for a peek.
  3. I thought that, there is an engine change over when looking for parts but the crank and flywheel are the same part numbers throughout. I need to fully strip it and see what’s going on.
  4. I have a KM94 that’s had me scratching my head a fair bit. Has compression. Has a nice spark, but won’t fire or even pop. Went through a whole range of options before I got there, bad flywheel?, bad key? Eventually realised that the timing is way off. Still haven’t worked out quite how it’s ended up like it is. Rouge one on the left, working on the right, both at TDC. I can only guess the crank has spun on itself???
  5. FR Jones now really good for Stihl and Husky online, depends what you're looking for.
  6. I asked a similar question a while back and have since used
  7. Couple of clues here https://www.facebook.com/MisterSolutionsLtd Hope they get sorted out
  8. A disco commercial van is a 'car derived van' and you van happily do 70 on a dual carriageway A road. The legislation doesn't mention tax or use, it just says cars, motorcycles and car derived vans. I think the grey area comes with something like a Merc Vito where the floor pan is c class car. I use one at work so always consider it 'car derived'😀
  9. I've had a couple like this. They can over speed if the blades are worn or the air is blocked, and the result is the con rod gets bent.
  10. No big secret, but after a lot of internet searching I found the Combitools Workshop Manual and it is the only place i found it, im happy to share where but don't want it taken down.
  11. He does the cheaper stuff but also some very good stuff ie Meteor which is excellent quality.
  12. I'm about to make an adapter, I'll measure the plug when I do.
  13. Yep, just meant how to tell which we're the better carbs. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  14. Can you tell from the model no? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  15. http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=52143 There is some kit listed here... Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  16. I'd check it's that. I just got one for a 136, it's over a fiver with the vat which seems a lot a half inch of what Barry describes as rubbish rubber. I wondered if there were any alternatives? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  17. OP says police caught the thieves in ten minutes and are coming to take a statement and yet there are still people who like to take the opportunity to have a moan anyway. Glad they didn't get away, let's hope there's a good outcome. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  18. I had an 025 that behaved in a very similar way, eventually worked out the coil was weak even though the spark looked good. Close the plug gap a little and see if things improve. What does the plug look like when it cuts out? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  19. They have lots of listings to check, must be almost impossible to stay one step ahead, scammers put the email in as an image so it's more difficult to detect, just hope Arbtalkers are clued up. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  20. After avidly reading here I decided to try my first completely orange saw. It apparently had a clutch fault and a oil pump fault. The clutch fault appears to have been the coil touching the flywheel. Ive yet to get to the bottom of the oil pump as the plastic adjusting screw is broken and a quick bit of research suggests there is a metal replacement available. I put some Aspen in and it did start, but I'm going to do a full strip anyway. Ive bought loads of Stihl spares online, if anybody can recommend somewhere to get Huskey parts posted from I'd be very grateful. Thanks guys:001_smile:
  21. Ouch, looks terminal, hopefully a pot may turn up. Wish me luck for my first MS200T. Anybody want to play the 'Guess how many bits are missing game?' http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=121011&stc=1&d=1366153096
  22. Also have a look at THIS one, which I use and is the SNAP ON one, so it should be good and you can get spares.
  23. I just opened an account and they supply me no probs, I also use MrSolutions, whichever works out cheaper :-) Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
