  1. As subtle as a brick Mr Bolam:-)
  2. I often use the cheaper nail and gas packs, not had any issues.
  3. That's the one for framing work, 50mm to 90mm nails, if that's what you need it for you won't be disappointed.
  4. Whichever one the replier owns will probably be the advice. Paslode, hitachi etc. I can only recommend paslode as it's all I've used, not much wrong with it as far as I can see! But I'm sure you'll get conflicting opinions.
  5. Oh, House of Lords is environmentally friendly is it? I had no idea!
  6. Thanks for the update, feel like I watched it now! Baroness Jones of Moulsecoomb ? Green?
  7. Who'd have thought it...... Chuka Umunna MP on QT last night suggesting exactly that! I didn't see it. Is it going to happen?
  8. Haha, the very thing he didn't want was the very thing he needed, good one eggs👍
  9. I suppose that cutting down trees is not that ironic for a tree hugger, there are trees that need hugging and trees that ARE "renewables"! It's up to us to tell the difference.(not just talking about trees obviously)
  10. Yep, no surprise that these ideals originated so long ago , when people understood and absolutely depended on nature and the very basics.
  11. Thanks Scotspine, I do enjoy your very occasional rants, but sometimes you just leave it too long between them! I think even most unreasonable people thought Osborne got it wrong too.
  12. Ok, you need 24hrs to think about that!
  13. Yes Jon, I'm a volunteer in our wee fire fire service, not seen any chainsaws in our kit lately, how any ARB guys go out and chop down a tree with an axe nowadays? Don't imagine it's that many.
  14. To be fair, I can see why OP posted vid, it is slightly painful to watch, but not their fault.
  15. Excactly right Jon boy, how much time should be spent training firemen to cut down trees rather than saving lives? The worrying part of it for me was the likelihood that the knobs filming the vid will probably be running the country in a few years, they will be as out of touch as the OP.

    Citizen khan

Thought the whole point of these three, WAS that they're trying too hard, that's what makes them hilarious! Each to their own then!!😏

    Cooler pipes

Oil cooler pipes on L200 are needing replaced, two metal pipes that go from cooler on front grill to two flexible pipes on inner wing, been having a bit of a look online but only seeing 2nd hand ones, any ideas where I'd get new ones?
  19. A thousand apologies! I'll get right to it! Keep going with that hobby and you'll go blind! Fyi, over 30yrs of hobby, still got 20x20 vision👍
  20. Is that the voice of experience I hear? Who said that.....? Oh dear!
