  1. 😂😂😂😂😂
  2. That's no way to talk to Silky! He only asked what the boat was called!!
  3. Can't argue with that either😟
  4. Can't really argue with that, unless it was paslode who done your repairs. Bought mine 8 yrs ago and it was secondhand then so not sure how old it is, never been in for repair. Probably just given it the kiss of death now:-(
  5. Think they missed an opportunity, it was bonfire night 3 nights ago!
  6. Aye you're rihgt there egsg
  7. Guess you don't have one then, considering you posted exactly what you meant to say?
  8. Sorry Jon, only bEEch trees up this way, guess you're looking for something that'll grow in a sandy location?
  9. As subtle as a brick Mr Bolam:-)
  10. I often use the cheaper nail and gas packs, not had any issues.
  11. That's the one for framing work, 50mm to 90mm nails, if that's what you need it for you won't be disappointed.
  12. Whichever one the replier owns will probably be the advice. Paslode, hitachi etc. I can only recommend paslode as it's all I've used, not much wrong with it as far as I can see! But I'm sure you'll get conflicting opinions.
  13. Oh, House of Lords is environmentally friendly is it? I had no idea!
  14. Thanks for the update, feel like I watched it now! Baroness Jones of Moulsecoomb ? Green?
  15. Who'd have thought it...... Chuka Umunna MP on QT last night suggesting exactly that! I didn't see it. Is it going to happen?
  16. Haha, the very thing he didn't want was the very thing he needed, good one eggs👍
  17. I suppose that cutting down trees is not that ironic for a tree hugger, there are trees that need hugging and trees that ARE "renewables"! It's up to us to tell the difference.(not just talking about trees obviously)
  18. Yep, no surprise that these ideals originated so long ago , when people understood and absolutely depended on nature and the very basics.
  19. You Kevin? Surely not?:-)
  20. Thanks Scotspine, I do enjoy your very occasional rants, but sometimes you just leave it too long between them! I think even most unreasonable people thought Osborne got it wrong too.
  21. Ok, you need 24hrs to think about that!
  22. So where do you stand exactly?
  23. Yes Jon, I'm a volunteer in our wee fire fire service, not seen any chainsaws in our kit lately, how any ARB guys go out and chop down a tree with an axe nowadays? Don't imagine it's that many.
  24. To be fair, I can see why OP posted vid, it is slightly painful to watch, but not their fault.
