  1. That sounds the most likely method to get that kind of finish.
  2. Doesn't look like the work of a router somehow, how would it leave the grain between the detail like that?
  3. That is very very nice, apart from the old rusty nail that split the timber in 2nd pic, but maybe that's nice too! Is it sandblasting? Be good to know how it was done.
  4. Whatever you think mate😳🙄
  5. Ok, I'll just have to work it out myself then. Mull.
  6. Or maybe we fooled ourselves! Time will tell. I hit my thumb with my hammer today, I'm pretty sure that happened because of brexit, infact I've no doubts about it!! As an aside! Why does jomoco, who has his username beside his avatar, sign off with jomoco when we know it's his post? He's not the only one guilty of this heinous crime.
  7. Now that would cause a rumble 😱👍
  8. Just heard about this, there was a rumble and ladder shook a wee bit, just thought it was thunder myself.
  9. I'd assume most cheques are cleared in 5 working days? Where does 6 months come into it ?
  10. Really, even after they've been cleared?

It is hard going to watch, you'd think combative sport would be a fight till the end, like boxing is mainly. But tie cwandoh is a tactical nightmare to watch!

Yup, it's a shame that taekwondo doesn't involve riding a bicycle.
  13. Antagonist? Me? That's the first bit of name calling I've seen on this thread!:-) Just because I disagree with you it does not mean I'm disagreeable, as someone once said! It's just an opinion and only mine. It is a forum after all. Have a look at the "use it or bin it" thread, all arb workers, all disagreeing, it's just opinions, not really worth getting precious about on here I don't think.
  14. Grinders, like chainsaws or drills etc only perform as well as the cutting or grinding disc/ bits, chain allows, which makes them hard to compare. We all use them in different ways
  15. Now, you go and have a quick look at that video again joe, make sure you don't do anything stupid today!
  16. The majority of my work comes from making paper aeroplanes. Not sure how you knew that! Bit creepy.
  17. It was suggested earlier in thread that arb workers could learn from video, I was only suggesting that I'd hope most arb workers would already be educated beyond the woeful working practices in the vid. Pretty simple really. Builder, bit of contract shepherding, burn quite a lot of wood.👍
  18. Yup that's the post where I said certain people could learn from this.
  19. If you need to watch a video like that to remind yourself not to be complacent or not to work for a company that has less than safe working practices you must have a problem with short term memory loss, if that's the case, you have my sympathies.
  20. Mr Newton and mr leach have gone offline, probably to bed, night guys.
