Got to use my gear for the first time today !! Really enjoyed it, didn't get very adventurous just up and down low and slow etc. also got to use my silky tsuguri for the first time what an awesome saw ! Do I look the part ? A very awkward job today two trees to be removed from a steep banking. The first half of the day was a rush to get all the brushwood down and away to the tip before it shut at 1, the rest of the day was delicately taking down the two stumps and logging everything up. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

Another two casualties claimed by the red nosed beetle today Tops taken off and burnt Stumps left to dry and will be taken down later on in the year Not had a climb with my new gear yet maybe tomorrow or ever the weekend, just finished tying up my lanyard Not bad for a first timer if I do say so myself. A quick update. No work so far this week. So I was off exploring again yesterday as it was such a lovely day. Managed to get a pic in between hundreds of 'wanna buy watch, very good price' Have also ordered my climbing kit and helmet ! Exciting stuff, a big thank you to fr jones for being so accommodating. Yesterday's job. ! A couple of palm trees pruned some almond trees to come down (lovely wood) A bay tree reduction and some olives pruned. And a palm destroyed by the red nose beetle to be reduced to a stump and left to rot. All the rubbish was left on site . And a cheeky lunge in the sun. Sent from device_name using Arbtalk Mobile App

Today's job !! A tree that was deemed to be dangerous but the council refused permission to take down, it ended up snapping and performing a miracle by placing itself between two houses. The only damage was broken plant pots and a broken piece of glass on the balcony. . All the rubbish was taken to the tip and all the logs stayed on site. Jobs a good'n !!

Does anybody own or use a singing rock timber || harness ? Looking for views on it as I have been looking at it for a while and I don't have the luxury of trying before I buy out here. If anyone has any other suggestions please bear in mind I am on a very tight budget.

We use normal spike for some palms and bicycle for other. Also with a machete like tool.

Today's job !!! Cleaning out and re shaping a pine ! . It was a very hot day and the vents on my chainsaw trousers were a godsend once again. No work until Thursday unfortunately looked very good at the end of the day
