  5. Thieving little £@&! Should have there hands chopped off
  6. I'm sure you've all seen my thread on general chat about my time coming to an end. To many things to list that have gone wrong. Should have seen the signs but failed. It's a lesson learned. Stress has now come into play about this part of my business. Arboriculture made up about 40% of my business. The other 60% split into two parts. Own brand of working dog food 40% and pest control another 20%. But now 40% of revenue has gone. I have to make some very rash decisions. Which is now putting stress on my relationship. Tension between me and my partner is getting very tense. So what do I do? I climb into the nest and grab that little nest egg I'd tucked away. I use it to subsidise me for the next month or 6 weeks and I take the time out to do what I WANT to do. Get my head straight and BOOM I'll start again. Keep smiling lads, it's tough for all of us
  7. Cheers mate I will no doubt star up again. Going to take a month out and work in this 60 acres. Me and the arb dog. Get me head straight and a game plan together and go for it
  8. I wish I owned 1000 acres. Just managed and consulted. The 60 acres is the first woodland I ever managed got a hazel coppice on its 5th year. Nice charcoal burner. Might try some carving. A couple of little wildlife projects up there. And no you will never know who they are. No name and shame. A local(ish) estate owner heard about my misfortune and had an email at 7am offering me 2 days a week at a more than reasonable wage. So that's more. Just gonna mass advertise and try keep a float. Don't worry lads. My head is always held high, I think I have the right to do so. And I'll keep you all posted
  9. Well I still retain about 60 acres of woodland for thinning. With hazel coppice. So that will bring in enough cash to cover the bills. HOPEFULLY. But not sure.
  10. Thanks I'm sure ill bounce back.
  11. Well arbtalk, I've been in the tree game a while. Man and boy you could say. But, after a line of non payers, and having to take people to court. And clients going else where. People double crossing me. It has reached the unavoidable point of no more money so from Monday morning my business will be no more and it will be starting from scratch again for me. I will remain here as your a top bunch of blokes. And to the people on arbtalk that have been the becoming of this. THANKS A BUNCH. Thanks arbtalk. Still cheers me up even at this point
