1. Good luck James. I would say borrow as little as possible and pay yr self a small wage to start with. I don't currently run my own business but debt takes the fun out of anything if you don't shift it quick. Been stung in the past but plain sailing now. Would'nt wish you the same mistake. So many experienced people on here to help with everything. All the best
2. Well first day over - great to be outdoors with an awesome view. Great training provided by Brampton Valley Training :-)
3. I hope your climbing is going well? I've got my CS39 course at Brampton Valley starting on Mon - can't wait. If the snow could hold off till I finish it that would be good.
4. I would say yes - just liked your page Certainly if you consider e.g. 100 friends like yr page and can suggest their friends to and so on. It gives a quick link to see what you do and is free after all. Nice one
5. Hi Tom, did drop you a PM but you may have not had chance to respond. Regards, Alex
6. only messing - enjoy your time off mate
7. Well most of the time we aren't making claims to superior importance or insolently proud. Arrogant. Try humility...it feels awesome. People who learn more feel they always have more to learn. How about maybe saying "I don't think you are quite right on that point. This may be a better option. Do you know what someone in another country might do?". Rather than saying 'yeeeeee hawwww we are top dog...go USA....go USA!!'. Just kidding
8. For CS38 I think we were up about 40ft. I got marked as 'tentative' on my ticket for CS38 but speed and confidence surely comes with time. I had big disco leg - kept making me laugh
9. This is much better you've got to sell yourself with comments like these - nice one. Aim to get one day in with a company working for free and agree to take some pics and put them on here. That is a good start because everyone will put positive comments on them on here as they are awesome
10. If someone takes the time to respond with a helpful suggestion be grateful and positive in response. You never know how they could help in the future and it's also professional. You can do it. The info is out there on every aspect of Arb work and guys on here are very helpful. Ask where you could be going wrong the next time someone says yr not right for a position to develop yourself. Best of luck, Al
11. Nice positive story that's a really cool thing to do for a mate Andy. You just have to take the hits in life and diversify or get washed up. People also remember and want to work with positive people who do their best all the time in whatever industry/trade. Good luck everyone for 2013
12.

Ok - thanks Kav. I also have CS39 booked, pesticide course and first aid course - all to be completed by end of Feb.

Happy New Year
