  1. Double esterlon from Yale works great on rigging and winching. Best rigging rope I have owned so far !
  2. Have been using caritools for a long time, the first couple broke when hanging the big saw in it (MS640) I switched over to using them upside down and later when the big caritool was introduced I started using it upside down as well. It's ideal for clipping in the chainsaw one handed, for getting it out you still have to use both hands. The bigger one won't break ! I you use the upside down the motion of clipping in the saw is way better for me and it prevent you from having to use two hands or just one hand on a small biner to clip it in. Fixed them on my sequoia and TM saddle and they sure are great tools to have around. Climb safe

    Winch it ;-)

The retail price for the SRW out here is 2395 euro's and if you are interested you should send Steven an email and try to make a deal for getting it shipped over. Have a look at Treewise.nl and you'll find the contact info for Steven.

    Winch it ;-)

Thanks for the advice on saw techniques, but I was up there doing some rigging and roping. My colleague on the ground really thought things over and he decided to go for cutting a hinge. The saw attachment point is allready covered ;-) And for the treeclimb movie.....the clue is on another vid ;-) Has to do something with april fools and stuff...... Cheers and climb safe

  6. Been climbing on the yale blaze for a long time, it is one of my favorits so far. Bu to be honoust I switched over to the yale imori because of some serious issues with my hands and finger joints....the bigger the rope diameter the less stress on your hands. Since I switched over my hands are no issue anymore. For the weight and perfect handling and performance I still love my 11mm Blaze, but try to use it as less as possible to keep my hands healthy ;-) And def wear gloves ;-) but that should be a good habit with all climbing ropes. 7. There seems to be some new chain development from Husqvarna for the 536, but that was told me some time ago and didn't get any new info. I'll try to get thissorted out one of these days ;-) Climb safe
  8. Done ;-)
  9. Ever since the arrival of the T536 LiXP the Echo tophandle saw is laying around in the shed doing absolutely nothing. And I'm totally happy with it that way
  10. That would have created a bit of a problem on the ground with people trying to use the road underneath as well broh But sure some days I only need one charged battery and other days I just keep on charging one after the other..... Climb safe
  11. Maybe send a mail to Hakselaar | hakselaars | Houtversnipperaar | houtversnipperaars | jobeau | jo beau | jo beau products | hakselaar | hakselaars | snoeiwerk | boomstronkfrees | boomstronkfrezen and ask them for a digital copy of the manual. I have been using a M400 for about 2 years now and it still impresses me, have got a manual from a M300 that came with the machine. Little maintenance, some greasing and sharpen the chipper blades and thats about it. And don't forget to change the engine oil every now and then. That keeps the engine in perfect working shape. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do :-)
  12. Yeah it was, went from -9 to 12 + in just one day, and all the snow gone and nothing but rain left today.....bummmer The pic is from sunrise and has a error in it. Had some fun with a friend that took the pic ;-) Don't do this up in a tree...... Climb safe
  13. Just for the fun of it ;-)
  14. This pic of from one of my mates ;-) and my batteries didn't run out today, used the MS200T and full wrapped Husqvarna 560 XP for removal of a huge Birch tree :-) but I own a Echo 260 TES and did make some nice vids to see how it holds up against the new 150T from Stihl....enjoy :-) Part 1 : https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=4896496299804&set=t.1519758753&type=3&theater and part 2 : https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=4896522180451&set=t.1519758753&type=3&theater

  16. Some you might be interested in ;-)
  17. Do you know the little stihl 150 tophandle chainsaw ? It's easily beaten by the Battery powered husqvarna. If you look at the power it is somewhere between a 150 T and the 200 T. But don't buy it to do removals, its purely for pruning and occasionaly a bigger branch. The power is something you wouldn't expect from hearing the machine at work, but when it's in your hands you'll find out it's no toy !! and has enough power to be a worthy mate up in the tree. Try to get a demo one and convince yourself ;-) thats the best way to go in my opinion. climb safe
  18. ;-) Good one mate and even in Dutch :-)
  19. They come with a 12 inch indeed. It's running great with it, but for pruning a 10 inch would be perfect. Have contacted Husqvarna netherlands about the chain and bar and they are working on something better. The chain is not that great and with a smaller size bar and professional chain it probably do even better :-) Or have some fun with a Stihl bar and chain, that sadly didn't fit.
  20. Batteries and saw come apart, if you only buy the body there will be no batteries included ;-)
