  1. Had that thought the other day actually Mark as the snow was hammering through sideways! So far its a 200T/ drone combo but that's more a sideline at the min
  2. Cheers for the reply's everyone Not throwing anything at it yet but thought it was worth looking into, Thanks again.
  3. Thanks for the feedback guys, had quite a promising PM so now looking into it further. It would most likely be something that went into production as it would be a handy and versatile thing for most climbers we think . . If not we'll just get some made for ourselves haha. Jeez Gary! you sound like a very patient man, wondering what you came up with spending that much, sounds cool when its released
  4. I was wondering if anyone knew or could point me in the direction to go about getting a prototype piece of hardware made up?. Obviously for in the tree, It's idea is from a friend/ climber at work and could be a great bit of gear especially when cold/ wet but not wanting to give much away at the moment. The problem is it's not something that could be knocked together in the workshop and would need more specialist machinery. Would this mean a trip with the design to a Petzl/ DMM factory? Any info on who to contact or where to go from here is much appreciated Cheers guys & girls
  5. I had that a few weeks back when trying to log in on my friends laptop, it's all good though be it a little annoying. Just hit visit anyway and it shouldn't show up again after that
  6. I had the same problem Jim, My sequoia just turned up after being posted back from Sweden but gathered a little surface mould as it had been in its bag since late May. It's not long out of the machine and looks shiny again! I just hope it dries for tomorrow now haha. Thanks for all the advice guys Much appreciated
  7. Hello all, As the title says I was wondering if I can wash my harness in the machine same as I wash my ropes, no detergent, cold wash etc? I'm just a wee bit worried it may damage the integrity of it? Reason I ask is its just been posted back to me from Sweden and has a wee bit of surface mold on it. Thanks in advice

A few shots of different jobs
  15. You should be given a copy of the assessment criteria to see what is expected but if you want head start you can download them from the NPTC website, hope this helps.
  16. Managed to grab this shot today aswell
  17. Just short for carabiner mate
  18. Cool cheers for that Not guided in Sweden yet, been over in Norway a few times near Trysil/ voss areas. Sadly not as my boat is back home in Scotland, Do you get out much?
  19. No Swedish forums that I know of Toby, Think that firing emails out and visiting the ones you can is the best bet. Haha that's ironic, I'm a raft guide in my spare time, used to be full time for quite a while. Need anyone in Dalarna this summer Yeah I have heard the same thing but I am looking into self employment at the moment but just as a free lancer rather than starting up on my own. For some reason the Svensk tax office struggles to get there head round that one so waiting on a reply from them.
  20. Hi Toby, I'm up in Kristinehamn (Varmland) there's not many companies at all up here and North where we have been working on the train lines there doesn't seem to be many at all. I think your best bet is to stick around stockholm/ Gothenburg areas. I have head of more jobs going down there, your HGV and trailer will be a big + too. Have you looked on arbjobs? I think there are one or two on there. Hope this helps, How long have you been here by the way? Cheers Jack
  21. Looks great Jim! next time your at Altyre you should carve this into a stump instead of a chair and see what the laird says hope your well
  22. Hey Tom, I used to work and live near Aviemore up in Scotland as a raft guide, Great place and always good for a stag do. Loads to do from rafting, canyoning, paint balling, off roading etc the list goes on. Great for a night out too, how many of you are there?
  23. yes, it pulls over every time when the spark plus is out.
  24. Hi, Just a quick one. As the title says I'm having trouble starting the saw, this hasn't happened in the past. Every time I pull the starer cord the de-comp valve pops out just under a third of the way through the pull then making it go really stiff and not pull any further. any advice? Thanks alot Jack
