  4. Hello all Pretty new to the forum and climbing, being doing it for about a year . Climbing on blakes hitch at the moment getting on fine with it , pretty competent IMO in the smaller stuff , branch walks etc . Trying the hitchclimber set up recently but still can't master it , probably a confidence issue , are spiderjacks worth a go ? Advantages / disadvantages ?   7. The estate I have a maintenance contract on in Scotland is getting a visit from the forestry commission next week who are taking samples from some of the 600 ash trees planted a few year back .

  19. Spey casting is down to technique , large rod but once you master it it's great ! Worlds apart from a 7 foot brook rod which I love catching brownies on in the local burns ! Had some nice sea trout too ! Nice way to end a day !
