  6. Have a look at your local Council's website to see how they investigate complaints/general advice, may help you...Generally, Council's allow businesses to operate as long as you don't go too late or Saturday afternoon/ Sundays....be nice to your council officer if he visits and make out your neighbour is being unreasonable...
  7. No other info... Police raids seize £20,000 of plant equipment stolen from Reading - Get Reading

Had my brother in law over from France recently and he mentioned how many trees he has cut down in his small wood, and I have yet to do so...only use my 16 inch Stihl (upgraded from a McCulloch) to cut up ready felled trees...wondering what it felt to cut down your first tree and what went wrong....
  13. What haul, probably just charged for handling as he didn't want to grass on his mates who helped him steal this stuff!!! Have heard that police are reluctant to help when a member of public reports finding their stolen goods on ebay or gumtree....well done to them on this occasion...
  14. Just seen article on Country life program saying that they will stop making Land Rover Defenders this year (Solihull factory) also heard 2nd hand dealers are buying up good stock to sell at a profit after this happens...I can see a market opening up where Companies start making 'new' defenders from available parts... http://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/motoring/features/iconic-land-rover-defender-to-be-discontinued-9981460.html
  15. The steering wheel lock I recommend is the DISCLOCK, available from all good book shops, fits around steering wheel, nice and heavy duty...also recommended for all modern keyless entry vehicles as are easy to break in and reprogram a substitute igniton key...also could use a Land Rover style clutch and brake pedal lock with it.
  16. Don't forget to tell your insurance company about your tuning mods!!!!! ps joke! I run a KDX 220 crosser, tuned and ported , not tried tuning my chainsaw yet!!

  18. Oak was passed fit and healthy 18 months ago (ps not my work!)
  19. Got some nice oak freshly cut to eventually burn in my wood stove. Left it on my trailer few days outside in the rain found a large brown stain on my nice new concrete drive. Found it very difficult to jet wash clean. Will need brick acid at a second attempt to clean it up.... just a warning to others.....
  20. The other thing to look out for, is they tend to go for company vehicles as they likely to be insured. No good getting your car rear ended if the other vehicle is not insured, they can't ring the police! oh, one more thing their brake lights will not working either!
