no its a wellingtonia 100%. never seen anything like it before,there is a defect at the base and its trying to protect itself by growing around the bottom,ive checked several of them near by but none have anything remotely similar,although all the ones ive checked have been very mature/veteran trees while this one is only semi mature will try and upload a pic later of one of the stripped bits,definately a very rare find -
recently found some growths around the bottom of a semi mature tree all in cone like shapes with awsome colouring and grain patterns once stripped of the bark.just wondering if this would be of any value or use for turning or crafting

where did you say you found that sawbench youve got?
the solicitors/estate agents are taking their time with the yard,they did say that the contracts were being drawn up yesterday so with a bit of luck it might all be sorted some time around the end of next week if your still up for meeting up.

whats the average min day rate for a 2 man team with a chipper.ive been pricimg jobs really cheap recently and still a lot of people want to search for more quotes.How cheap do people want things!!!!!!

i have got cscs and I've got 4 years experience,I've worked for county councils,british waterways,ump till hill,the forestry commission and several AA certified companies across a wide range of jobs,while carrying out private jobs for myself. would like to do my pts I've got a lot of mates working on the rails

no,i dont need help with my accounts thanks.im in north wales and ive got cs30,31,32,34,38 UA1 and a chipper ticket,booked onto cs 39 in around a months time (just got round to doing it,after saying im going to for a few years) got a driving licence but not 7.5 tonne.
