  1. Why are you so determined on catastrophe? You DO remember "...Sorry, there's no money left..." don't you? You want some more of that??
  2. I didn't "envisage" the audience response - it took me entirely by surprise. A vote for Labour can only mean impaired judgement. Having seen the audience reaction they must have been majority retarded. The panel behaved like chimps. The most outrageous statement was from Angus Robertson claiming to speak for "...everyone from Cornwall to Caithness..." - that drew howls of derision! Is a chimp better than a retard....? Don't know. If only everyone was as level headed as me....
  3. I wouldn't classify myself as a May supporter Mr Mull. This really is the lesser of 2 weevils but never before has the choice been so stark and clear. If I was to say - I would hold the same view about the PM not being in attendance at TV debates, regardless of the party, would you believe me? I think you might....
  4. +1 Who said on the debate (rhetorical question, it MUST have been Nuttal) "...it's not so much the immigrants that are the problem but rather the immigration policy..." (or something like that.) It was clearly apparent that those that don't see the recent historical lack of an effective control of inward migration as a problem were pulling out all the stops to personalise the issues at an individual level whilst simultaneously attempting to gloss over the No.1 doorstep concern of the entire UK and similarly attempting to score cheap points against the Tories for withdrawing the Migration Impact Fund (Government quietly abandons Gordon Brown's £50m pot for councils to ease pressure on housing, schools and hospitals - https://www.theguardian.com/uk/2010/aug/06/fund-impact-immigration-scrapped) Typical political / Public Sector - ignore the elephant and clumsily attempt to find elephant food to stop the elephant stomping the place up then complain because there isn't enough elephant food. Then claim the problem is racism rather than lack of elephant food or too many elephants. There would be no NEED for a migration mitigation fund if the migration issue was properly addressed!
  5. Alright! That's a fair point! I shouldn't have given the impression that I was referring to the attendees as chimps, but their behaviour was pretty appalling. We'll have to agree to disagree.
  6. Fair do's Felix, but it was just a shouting match where they were all over talking each other? I can't see that it actually achieved anything? PM's absence certainly gifted the chimps a cheap dig but would her attendance have resulted in anything tangibly different in terms of output other than allowing the Prime Minister to be dragged down to the level of the rest? I genuinely don't think so and I think it would have demeaned the office of PM.
  7. I wasn't going to vote this time Mr E because local MP (Tory) is a tit, I'd have gone and spoilt the paper, but I wouldn't have endorsed her. There is no doubt that I will be obliged to now. We only have LibDems, Labour and Tory to choose from. It certainly seems like there is a final push getting behind Labour (to my complete and absolute bafflement) so I will be obliged to use a blocking vote! Genuinely, if I didn't and, by some devastatingly perverse act of masochism, the Great British public actually DO elect Chairman Mao and his muppet show, I will be obliged to shut up shop and move to Oz. All those clowns at that debate taking cheap shots at the absence of the PM simply exposed their own lack of dignity. I've seen better organised chimps' tea parties!
  8. Hope so, but concerned about crossing the Tamar after hearing Ed's tale. I don't mind 20 minutes driving but after that it's a stretch!!
  9. DVT! Hell's teeth!! You wouldn't expect to see that on a RAMS. That there is true dedication and an indication of the many and varied risks inherent in the industry. Glad it wasn't serious and allowed an early stab at the buffet! Bloody impressive trophy too!!
  10. There is a third Felix, and it's absolutely apparent whilst the program is running.... It's a distasteful, disorganised, pointless and shambolic pantomime. Personally, I absolutely agree and support the decision for a "grown up" politician to not have engaged in such a disaster. That said, and it absolutely baffles me, the audience response has been quite a surprise. I didn't miss that Mark, I asked a question, you answered - job done. Temerity...? Like it
  11. Yes, I kind of recall that discussion from a previous thread. I tend to avoid getting too involved in the absolute detail, it's a bit like the towing debate 3.2 or 3.5t capacity on PUs. If you're getting that close to spec's you're probably needing to upgrade anyway. I had the back weights on my MO to start with, found I very rarely needed them and thought it was crazy just hauling them around all the time so they came off and haven't gone back on!
  12. WoooHooo! A SW UK venue 😀😀😀 Protect and Survive Exeter University, 10–13 September 2017
  13. Sorry, missed that bit.... If they vote for Chairman Mao, Yes!
  14. They're just personal opinions. I'm a user not a trader. You're in good company being confused though. I was too! Took me 2 years, several demo's and a lot of reading / comparing to come to a decision. It was so bewildering that I had to draw up a geeky comparison table! It will always be horses for courses so that choice has to be a personal one. I went blue not green and I have no regrets! None, not even a snifter. That doesn't happen so often!
  15. Children should be fed (breakfast) at home not at school! The responsibility for providing the platform for children to flourish at school lies firmly with the parent / guardian NOT the school. School is for education. That's it. There's a VERY limited space where the "state" might set strategic policy for raising children but the tactical / operational / day-to-day business of parenting is for PARENTS not state or, by extension, school.
  16. Please tell us the Posty has been?? 🤞🏻
  17. Everyone (with just the merest hint of intelligence) should be asking them self, and Chairman Mao, how the hell he plans to pay for all his grand schemes. The answers are starting to reveal themselves. Every home / land owner should make them selves aware of the implications of this before getting anywhere near considering a vote for Chairman Mao. Maybe those that think it doesn't affect them because they don't own a house think it's a good idea? But here's just a few examples off the top of my head, all of these pay business rates - schools, car parks, public toilets. How do you'all think a hike in LVT will affect those. Wake up! Have you never heard the phrase "if it seems to good to be true, it probably is?" Remember the sign off last time? "Sorry, there's no money left!" Christ, it's like having a conversation with a child or a maniac! The PM doesn't do TV debates because they only really appeal to X Factor / Jeremy Kyle retards - there's nothing more to it!
  18. Ib for ib and £ for £, it's the better machine! 👍🏻
  19. Mark, Ive come to find a sort of respect for the conviction you show, but for the love of God man, don't take the word of Chairman Mao and his commie oppo's as a basis for argument! Look further afield than the Labour manifesto before you hitch your pony to that wagon!
  20. Ha ha love it Kev. I'm happy to pack the chutes (with dirty dhobi!)😆 Why we grant citizenship and not residency fails to amaze me. With the latter, if someone steps out of line it's revoked and they are deported, simple! Same with dual or multiple citizenship, make all swear allegiance to one country only and cancel the others. Exactly. Where it's migration rather than asylum just give them the FO pill. Where it is genuinely asylum give them 2 years (for example, or just sufficient time for country of origin to stabilise) then give them the FO pill. How hard would that be? Win / Win! The bleeding heart liberals still get to relieve their person guilt trip and the population of UK doesn't continue to spiral out of all control. Result....
  21. An independent Scotland could result in a Cornish spaceport being a 1:2 probability rather than a 1:10. Choices, choices..... Spaceport Cornwall merges with Orbital Access for new project (From Falmouth Packet)
  22. Complete pile of poo! Totally agree!
  23. I wouldn't have used that specific phrase Gary, the obvious association is unfortunate and misleading. But you had the right interpretation of my thinking. I've mellowed (marginally) through the day although I wouldn't loose a minute sleep or be at all troubled by those named on the watch list being "assisted" to shuffle off their mortal coile. What sort of decent, democratic society facilitates and allows the expenditure of £millions/pa to surveil a few thousand undesirables (and still fails on occasion resulting in national / international curtailments and infringements of the liberties of the majority) whilst simultaneously acknowledging that 1000s of old people die each Winter of cold related illnesses, children are in poverty and food banks are in ever increasing demand? I've mellowed more towards HairyChest's view of expulsion. For anyone that supports or aspires to an IS lifestyle, we should help them along their personal path of discovery - starting with the 2-3k on the watch lists, load 'em onto Herc's or C17s and static line drop them into IS held territory. There you go chopper, that's what you wanted, knock yourself out, you're not wanted here!
