Fair play giving him directions - may have been an innocent mistake, but turning him around is a bit harsh! Unless he invited it?

Nah.... I blame the gays:

Firemen? They get paid for getting their fat crackers down, then get paid for playing 5 a side during the day, then go home for a kip before cracking on with the second job fully refreshed after a few watches of doing SFA at tax payers expense. Probably be out on strike soon too so that some poor squaddie has to do their job with WWII equipment and an afternoon training.

What’s yellow a sleeps 5? A Cormac van. Do working class people get paid to sleep on the job in full view of the public….? Are telling me you’ve never seen a council van with every babe in it sparko? I wouldn’t believe it if you did!

Yeah - stick it to him man - he was a lemon....

Well that bloke looked like Prince Andrew and he had nothing other than the usually Remoaner BS.

Dirty, devious, untrustworthy, treacherous bastards throughout history - and that’s before we even get to the cheese eating surrender monkey issues…. Centuries of war against these bastards is overlooked at our peril! Exocets to the Argies, nuclear tech to Saddam, they’d sell out their own family for a quick buck and don’t let the Sunak / Macron bro-mance fool you - they are cut from the same cloth and never to be trusted.

Have you never endured a classical rendition of the music of Jakob Ludwig Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy old boy? Enough for the most ardent aficionado to reach for the piano wire in order to ease the pain….

Petition for legislation for winter and all season tyres

You have to laugh though... I've actually managed to subvert your very sensible and topical road transport safety thread into an EU bashing! That is some de-rail.... 😀 -

I was just pleased to be able to yank your chain a bit J.... I mean, you're going to run out of reasons to denigrate the UK if things carry on like they are: The Qatar Corruption Scandal Is Rocking E.U. Politics TIME.COM Belgian federal prosecutors have charged four people, including E.U. Parliament Vice President Eva Kaili. Youth Unemployment Rate - Countries - List | Europe TRADINGECONOMICS.COM This page displays a table with actual values, consensus figures, forecasts, statistics and historical data charts for -... 😂. All in good nature and wishing you and yours a good Christmas in Swedenlandshire... -

Fair play! That's a solid argument from a position of experience rather than my random BS 😂 -

For the number of days / year they might be useful in UK the cost benefit ration simply doesn't stack up for the average motorist. I'll concede - beneficial to some transport / emergency services / essential users perhaps - but not your average Joe. Just not gonna happen. I'm actually really disappointed J, that you don't seem to have mentioned / considered the grave environmental impact (a) of road tyres generally, and (b) the increased harm of a softer compound all year round. Tyres are made from synthetic rubber, a derivative of crude oil, and contain a number of toxic organic compounds, including known carcinogens. As they make contact with the road, they release tiny particles measuring less than 23 nanometres, which pollute the air, soil and water. The softer the compound, the more they degrade in use.... Yome flogging a dead horse with this one mate. -
I don’t know mate. Is there even a way to correlate frequency of previous Covid infection against likelihood / recorded incidence of Strp A or even death from Strp A. Hell, I don’t know. Here’s what I do know though, some of the people I know that are testing themselves for Covid frequently are getting positive results frequently. I only tested when I had to as part of pre-op checks this time last year (3x gen anaesthetic ops) I don’t know if I’ve had Covid or not since then because I don’t test. No test equals no positive result. Seems to work for me.

wow! I guess this really shouldn't come as a great surprise.

You’d waste your own, and their, time talking to the ‘council.’ FC and LA are very distinct and separate examples of bureaucracy that exist very much in their own isolated stovepipes with very little communication between the 2. Even if there was effective communication, all the ‘council’ would tell you to do is liaise with the FC.

A Dutchman goes home….?

Utter bollocks. I’ll go head to head with any remoaner any time any place. I'm unfortunate enough to have to mix on a social and professional level with loads of lame assed brexmoaner pessimists on a day to day basis. Without exception, every time I’ve had a conversation with these types they roll over and submit…… Flunitrazepam Is a wonderdrug 😂

For the love of God.... 50 trees to be removed because of an ignorant recreational saddle wanker. Tell her if she feeds and tends her horses properly they won't eat Sycamore seeds and the probability of harm is directly proportional to her attention and care for her horses! Feed forage, such as hay in parched fields, off of floor in haynets or feed racks Do not over stock fields so horses have access to good grass Limit turnout, ideally keeping horses in over night Section off areas around poisonous trees and collect and dispose of leaves and seeds safely away from horses Remove young sapling plants Be vigilant of the potential signs of this disease and act quickly if your horse becomes poorly Ensure you check your horse multiple times a day Check your insurance cover for veterinary care is up to date Sycamore seeds — what’s the risk to my horse and how do I get rid of them? - Horse & Hound WWW.HORSEANDHOUND.CO.UK Sycamore poisoning, or atypical myopathy, caused by the ingestion of sycamore seeds or seedlings can be fatal to... -
Why are young’ish people leaving the job market?

Your energy situation is reasonably unique though - and highly commendable BYW! Maybe we need greater level of incentive for individual (or even better, centrally adopted) sustainable energy production AND usage. -

This is exactly the same ‘syndrome’ that farmers suffer from when seeking to defend agricultural subsidies. For every hands on working man that defends the crumbs they receive, there is a land baron hoovering up a rich seam of free money and laughing their cock off that the minions are fighting their battle for them. -

The fuel tax situation is a shambles - Sunak cut the duty in March this year and hancock raised it in Nov... How's that for a flip flop. Of course I agree, tax fuel = kill the economy, but don't tax fuel = kill the planet. What are you gonna do... -

Devon! Devon! That's like saying yome in Germany! The best way I can actually describe my afternoon is with this short video (I did actually cross the Tamar this afternoon though): -
How much money have you got? If you have to work for someone else you won't stand a chance of clearing any decent money for several years at least (if ever.) If you have the beans and the cash to set yourself up you can make the money. There was a "senior arborist" job advertised on the AA Facebook page the other day, I scanned the comments just out of interest and the general consensus seemed to be it was a joke and you'd actually get paid more at Tesco.
