  1. Which bit Mr P? The fake news figures or the duty placed upon all at sea (under international maritime law - UNCLOS) where it is safe to do so, to assist those in distress (imminent peril) where imminent peril is described under the SOLAS convention. Bit of a shambles really where well intentioned international conventions are being exploited by those that purposefully, intentionally and often criminally set out to exploit that which was never envisioned as being applied in such a manner so as to short circuit normal immigration processes. The answer - pick em up and set em back from whence they came. Maybe then the message will get out and the ‘victims’ will stop giving their money to organised crime and international terrorists....
  2. Spot on! As usual, I want it to be a dozen different things on different days and each one contradicts all of the others! Starting to get the gist of a workable (compromise) plan in mind though.
  3. They’re less than an hr away (and never been to Buuuude) so May have a run up there for a look-see in Jan. I dont mind cost where quality / design / functionality are seen in the product, and I like the no-drill, vehicle specific units.
  4. Yes mucker, I do know what yome mean, I wasn’t contesting the irony of someone who voted for legal aid reduction then having to dig deep to defend their liberty. Like so many ‘systems’, there is always the potential for exploitation - Yam Yam Choudry for example. Maybe he’ll put a bit more effort into researching his voting tendencies in the future (and maybe be a bit more careful in his seduction techniques) I was just saying, there’s a subtle difference between being ‘innocent’ and being found ‘not guilty’ or acquitted.
  5. He wasn’t found guilty ??s. Im not so sure that naturally equates to “innocent” however, just that there was insufficient evidence to satisfy the “beyond reasonable doubt.”
  6. Been looking at Bott, Sortmo etc - plenty of vids on YouTube and Bott factory is only an hour away so worthwhile going for a look. Anybody done a racking rig out that works well in a medium sized van (Transit Custom L1H1) or have any tips / lessons learnt / things you’d do differently??
  7. Chicken house has some merit, where it lacks aesthetic appeal, it gains back in ease of cleaning / slightly rounded edges & absence of nooks & crannies for mite. Like that idea! It’s what these have done but without the trendy colours and over inflated price tag for DFLs. And having forgot to add the link, here is the link: https://www.omlet.co.uk/shop/chicken_keeping/
  8. But what’s the story with that right hip bone? Looks reet peculiar? Rest of yome Mrs looks reet proportional iffum you wouldn’t be offended by the observation ?
  9. I'd class that as a punishment! Hate Conny ID ? But a good idea - no point doing the stuff you enjoy all the time, never learn anything new.
  10. Not very Seasonal!
  11. Merry Christmas A little early I know, but I have so many happy beautiful friends, I thought I'd get the ugly fuckers out of the way first. After careful consideration of your performance in 2018 I have decided to extend our friendship for another 12 months. A little Christmas message for you. Not every flower can say love, but a rose can. Not every plant survives a thirst, but a cactus can. Not every retard can read, but look at you go, little buddy! Today you should take a moment and send an encouraging message to a fucked up friend, just as I have done. I don't care if you lick windows, or fuck farm animals. You hang in there cupcake, because you're fucking special to me, and you're my friend. Look at you smiling at your phone / PC screen, you crayon eating mother fucker! Merry Christmas my special friends Don't fuck it up. All the best in 2019 x
  12. No pics = it didn't happen.... Over to you..?
  13. Struggling to get a grip on your logic there Mark. If yome all qual’d up but wouldn’t work over yome own house maybe your choice of training and training provider was a bit iffy? Not sure I’d want anyone other than myself working above my house.
  14. It’s Christmas Eve Eve, I’m not rising to the bait you pair of Northern ?’s
  15. Unseasonably George in Looe, 11 degrees this evening, wouldn’t believe it was so close to Christmas if it hadn’t been for the battered brussel sprouts at the chippy.
  16. Never been to Suffolk! Thinking about it, not even sure I could put a pin in it on the map ?
  17. Don’t tell him there’s a redundant chipper available! He’ll have it cannibalised and converted into some sort of Frankenchipper!
  18. If you didn't have that dodgy bloke helping out I could have come with the MultiOne ?
  19. She likes County Down better than County Up, Subtraction and Multiplication they always catch her out ?
  20. The TPO is here: http://webapps1.poole.gov.uk/reportit/default.aspx?incidenttype=tree preservation orders http://webapps1.poole.gov.uk/mapthatdocuments/TPO_documents/TPO1/0/0181.pdf Good to see they are online, a bit annoying that the page orientation is all over the place. A 1962 Area TPO - that could have done with some updating in the intervening 50+ years. https://www.lgo.org.uk/decisions/environment-and-regulation/trees/06b16269
  21. Ah, understood, I presumed it was a private company. Maybe refresh the existing qual and add 1 or 2 new qual's so that there is flexibility and availability within the overall team would be easier to justify than 4 new qual's?
  22. I can appreciate the benefit of having the qual in the company tool box, and since you've already got it, maybe send 1 additional staff member rather than 4 and consider a re-fresher for yourself? I'm not sure 1 would necessarily trump another (PTI v Lv 4) but they would certainly complement each other and a refresher would be valuable CPD - easy to justify for business case.. Why do you have to do a business case? Is it your own business or are you seeking external funding support?
  23. The liability does not rest with the FC to check for extant TPOs at the consideration of a FL - the applicant should tell them if they know there is one in effect. If the applicant doesn't know if there is a TPO in effect, they have to check, just the same as any other tree they plan to work on. That liability rests wholly with the land owner / person doing the cutting.
  24. It’s getting towards the end of 2018. Was there a thread round abouts this time last year (or an earlier year) where we all had to nominate the “word of the year” or some such? If (a) yes and (b) it’s gonna happen again.... I’m voting for “Bumfuckistan” as the word of the year! Oh, and by the way, if anyone doesn’t agree, or if there IS a poll, I don’t care what the result is if I don’t agree, I’ll just keep demanding ANOTHER poll until Bumfuckistan wins! (PS - this post is sponsored by Ballantine’s finest blended scotch whiskey ??)
