  1. Thank god for that, I thought you were being water boarded in Cuba.
  2. I just did a quick internet search. Kevin Johnson MBE no longer exists anywhere online. Don't mess with Her Majesties Customs, you have been warned:biggrin:
  3. What an open, honest post. Both my wife and her brother suffer peti-mal ? Seizures, both drive as medication keeps it under control, although when they're tired you can see they're not always completely with it. We all take driving as a right, but both of them could lose the privilege quite easy if their condition worsens.
  4. Very much.
  5. There's so many discrepancies in religious works regarding nomenclature that the Bible or Torah probably won't help. ( I read a book about naming elms that had a couple of chapters on mistakes in translations over the years)
  6. Water or stella?
  7. Yeah, should stick to Stella
  8. Don't zelkova have symmetrical leaf bases, unlike the Ulmus species? Is the leaf hairy?
  9. Thanks Steve, I'm tempted to give it a go, guess sometimes I'm just a little too fixed in my ways with this new fangled technology. Edit- guess I'm going to try to find my password for the Apple Store thingy first though, I know I had one
  10. Can you stick your oar in quicker now? I thought Windows 10 was good until it crashed and I spent a week restoring, downloading apps and reloading programs to get my system back to how I like it! Would using the app on an iPhone be an improvement on the web based method I use now? Serious question.
  11. As far as I know, through talking with a mechanic, diagnostics have to have plugs for each vehicle manufacturer. He can't do our ivecos but can do fords, Mercs and the like. I think he spent 2 1/2 grand on equipment and it don't do half the vehicles that come through the door.
  12. But I'm sure that enough, if not all, will be left in situ to provide another habitat. Every cloud has a silver liniing:biggrin:
  13. If anyone needs 020T or MS201T service manuals or parts lists of got PDFs. PM an email address and what you need.
  14. Personally I think you've still a way to go...... Just saying:biggrin:
  15. It might be to you:001_tongue: Derriere or bottom is probably preferrable:biggrin:
  16. A hard lesson learnt. To date we don't have them, that I'm aware of.
  17. Big J has a big thread on his timber drying kiln, I'm not sure if it was economical so much for firewood. Worth a read as I seem to remember the details are well documented.
  18. Isn't the PRS under threat due to Brexit?
  19. Huge and terrifying is probably an understatement. I can't image any reasonable way in which these issues will be overcome. Watching Ross Kemp on Isis last night, where the issue of a Kurdish state on the border of Turkey was raised. Where will it all end? If it ever does!
  20. Don't think a felling licence is applicable with dead trees anyway.
  21. How do sort it out though?
  22. Never thought about refrigerating them. Thanks for the info.
  23. Should have said there's energy stored in or around the dormant buds ( trees are moved while dormant), If water supply is limited surely there's pre-existing mechanisms to reduce transpiration. I'm sure it's better to reduce the canopy only if it dies back. I think it explained it in the Arb journal but I've slept since then
  24. I've just reread the email, I there's no request at all regarding packaging. I've sent in now in a couple of paper envelopes, actually one of them paper mushroom bags from sainsburys and an envelope.
  25. Sending cedar shoots, hopefully some Sirococcus spores on. I was wondering if using something impermeable would degrade them. I'll try a couple of envelopes. I'm impressed that I got a reply yesterday as I only submitted online on Sunday.
