  1. hi had 2 of these saws just over a year now mine has done about 2 thousand ton . mine has snapped 2 av springs had a new carb under warranty and also new exhaust under warranty as it cracked were it bolts too the head , it still pulls like a train on 18 bar . the bars are very long lasting . and i will get another one when it dies which i dont expect will be soon . its always ran on stihl red with no probs and always starts easy . the other saw has cut maybe a thousand with no probs at all . a brilliant saw and puts the saw it replaced to shame , a fact . i still use my ms 440 which is another fantastic saw , i would recommend the 620sx to any fulltime forestry cutter or anyone else ie tree surgeon
  2. great idea id use it
  3. yes please do send photos thanks
  4. got my 360tes back from carrs billington today after carb strip and sonic clean then tune up . pleased to say it now runs great no more cutting out even after ticking over for 10 mins today and no more running on after cutting . thanks lads . i will add our 2 620sx saws have been excellent 1 of them has now cut over 1500 tons needing only a pull cord not bad at all
  5. the dealer could not tune the saw to run corectly so it was replaced
  6. i have dropped it off at another saw dealer so lets see what thet say . i could live with a slight run on but it wont tick over and even when it does it wont pickup it cuts out when you open the throttle . when dropped at the dealer they said poss air leak which is what the first saw was thought to have at the other dealer .
  7. what oil are other users using
  8. tried 4 or 5 local garages jet esso bp etc no change in the way saw runs even with super unleaded . saw seems as if too lean when reving up gasps really bad and screams its bollocks off but wont tickover as it loads up as if too rich . when first started takes ages before it can pull chain around .got me beat . like I said echo saying stihl oil maybe buggered saw . I don't go with that reason
  9. been like that from new , never run right the pair of them . shop thought first one had crank air leak . echo seem to be saying its because I did not use semi oil . when I bought it shop said any oil was fine so been using stihl red . run all my other saws on this with no probs .
  10. hi guys im on my second cs360tes and like the first we are having problems ie will not tick over for more than a minute and after cutting saw races on its rubbish to be honest . tried different petrol grades and 2 stroke oils . the first saw had carb sonic cleaned and new diaphragm kit but made no improvement and shop could not solve it so got new saw after 3 weeks . any ideas , am I missing something . echo a saying you must use semi synthetic oil . what are people running theres on and any probs guys .
  11. <p>hi do you still run the faw+f courses in the northeast al . if so when is the next date as mine has ran out . thanks in advance mike . cheers</p>

  12. echo 620 and your woes will be gone:thumbup:
  13. been running two 620 for 8 months now , they have been bombproof and cut no slower than a 560 . they have actually cut more because of no downtime whatsoever . the 560 was a joke . I never go to the saw shop for repairs now thanks to the change to echo . the original bars are now due for replacement . I had 2 husky bars last less than 3 weeks last year . best move I have made less stress for me just put fuel and oil in
  14. hi all bit of a disapointment with my 360 tes after 3 weeks it has not sorted its self out as hoped . after cutting a limb it runs on and chain goes round . no amount of tuning with the high and low needles or tickover screw can dial this out , fine if just free reving it but not once used under load . anyone had probs with their 360 like this . its had to go to the shop they are going to sonic clean the carb . shame as our two cs620sx saws are going well .
  15. i do forestry and all the 560 owners i know do aswell a lot of cutting cramed into a little time , i reckon once the saws with light use catch up you will see probs . this saw is put out for pro use not casual users but for pro use its not reliable at all , thats all im saying guys .
  16. not drivel mate fact i have had 3 560s all kept going to be fixed , two mates of mine this month . plug blown out of head then clutch again on one , the other saw this week crank bearings gone and piston so new engine . thats what 560s do its fact not drivel . unless you only want to do little work they are not reliable enough
  17. get the husky if you want to spend time waiting for it to be repaired a lot
  18. google or youtube the 590 timberwolf which has same exhaust and watch muffler mod , i only did the second part but it has made a good gain once h jet tune in properly . take you 1 hour to do no more
  19. just started using our second 620 today . pulled capps off and quarter turn richer on bottom end and its instantly better . do exhaust mod and they really start to fly , these are good saws full stop
  20. 2 year wauranty if saw is registered when new and you use husky 2 stroke xp oil . hot start mod should sort it
  21. hi did mod on exhaust on the 620 and tried it today , revving up faster now and got more beans . only did second mod on the top part of exhaust not the full mod . see it on youtube under echo 590 timberwolf muffler mod .
  22. going to get a set of tuning tools for carb: my saw has the double d type needles . easy fix
  23. did a little dismantle yesterday with my new cs 360tes tickover a bit up and down at first but seems to be sorting itself out gradually after couple of tanks . on 14 inch bar will update in a few weeks
  24. thats not good mate keep us in the loop, good luck
  25. did you find it running lean out of the box
