  5. His actual user name is spudulike . Real name Steve Gum . Everyone refers to him as spud .
  6. You need to determine the type of cutter and as a result the pitch and the gauge . The type of cutter will determine the file diameter that you need to sharpen it correctly . The pitch is the distance between any 3 consecutive rivets divided by two . The gauge is the thickness of the drive tangs that sit in the bar . If it is a 3/8th pitch chain it can be one of 2 different file sizes . Standard 3/8th is sharpened with a 7/32" ( 5.5mm ) file . 3/8th pitch LOW PRO is sharpened with a much smaller 5/32" ( 4.0mm ) dia file . You say its 3/8ths but just in case ......If its a .325" pitch chain then you need a 3/16th ( 4.8mm ) diameter file . Bit complex I know but you will get used to it .

  20. Well quite a few options then . Anything in the 50 to 60 cc class from Echo or Dolmar is worth looking at . A 555 ( 560 without the rev boost ) would be good from Husqvarna . Or a Husqvarna 365XTorque is very good value . Can be converted into a 372XT just by grinding off the fins on the inside of the transfer covers .
