  2. Being aware . Knowing when the saw is about to run out and being there with the fuel . Keep brash off the climbers rope . etc etc Dont leave the chipper running when not in use Keep looking up . Always be doing something ............
  3. Has my 560 from early 2011 . Had the cutting out when hot issue when new . This was cured with a new carb and a hotter plug . Then sent it off for porting . Always run on Aspen 4 mixed at 50:1 with Red Line Racing 2t oil . . Saw is 7 years old now and still running strong .
  4. Could be you have a " hot spot " caused by an air leak . I distorteg one once because I had a side cheek of vermiculite board in back to front . (It has a slope on the top ) . this was allowing a jet of air to come through enriching the flame in that area . When I sussed it I fitted the side cheek the right way round and made a new baffle plate from 3.5mm stainless . The original was only 1.5 mm thick .

  15. Years ago we had a chimney fire . It was back when we had an open fire . Swept the flue once a year and always burnt well seasoned wood . Could not understand it . Was not till a few weeks later that the kids admitted to chucking the plastic wrappers from a toy on the fire . It caught alight and floated up and stuck on the top bend . The fire brigade showed were it was with an infra red camera in the loft . Extinguished it with a hose with a sort of " watering can rose " on the end . Pin point accuracy and no mess .
  16. That would mean only the owner could do the felling .
  17. The felling license applies to the site not the individual .
  18. No more than 5 CUM in any calendar quarter . Also you can't sell more than 2 CUM in any calendar quarter . There are exemptions . Best to google it .
  19. unless you have a pressure fed oil supply to your engine any thing with a 2 stroke engine is an advantage on steep banks as it wont starve the engine of oil ..... All I could think of .....
