If I do start to snore its because I am on my back and it wakes me instantly . So ,I alternate from one side to the other . I am a very bad sleeper though .

Yes . A floating rim as we call it . I did not want to say just rim as the op clearly was not familiar with the terms used in the trade . Spur , rim etc etc .

Thats not the clutch , its the drive sprocket . I have seen worse ! If its a " spur " sprocket then you will have to replace the clutch drum as it is attached to it . " floating " sprockets you can just replace separately .

My last British bike was a Royal Enfield Constelation 700 twin . I longed for the much more reliable Interceptor 750 but alas could not afford one .

I seem to remember some very expensive Ducati bikes had to change from fiberglass tanks to steel or aluminum because of that . The " wide line " featherbed frame was very popular in my day for housing Triumph and BSA engines . Thing is there was not much wrong with the Norton Atlas engine I thought.

At this time of year there is plenty of food about for them . Insects are the best I nthink . So , I only partially fill just a couple of feeders and wait till all the spillings have been hoovered up before I refill . In the winter I will use them all . You are never more than 10ft away from a rat they say even if you can't see them .
