  1. I think the angle of the top roller is normal . Ours pivots up more one side than the other . I think the anti stress device has cut in early maybe the blades are blunt and/or the feed was too high . Have you tried restarting the engine . If you start it on half throttle it should not try to feed in or out . I suppose the safety bar is not pushed right in stopping the feed ? bit obvious but just a thought . If it starts put it to full throttle and revers the feed and it should spit it out . Some times the feed rate dial vibrates round to zero and nothing hap[pens .. outside chance it could be that .
  2. Good luck Paul . Laters ..../..
  3. Were would we be without you Jon . You are a hero bud !!
  4. Going to bed now as I'm an old git ! Been on this guitar thread , "Fake owl " thread and " What saw for cross cutting " thread . Fair wore me out .

  16. In relative terms I am a crap guitarist . I am 60 years old and had my first axe when I was eleven . Alas I have small; hands ( size 8 in a chainsaw glove ) and never made the grade ! Just love having them around and playing to my self really . Got a Fender Deluxe all valve Hot Rod amp and a small 5 watt valve Chimp . Currently building a Dave Gilmore black strat . Got a Tangle wood TW 145 that rings out nicely .
  17. Ok laters though. Will take some . ( got a new pc recently not go any on here yet )
  18. Dissagree ( repectfully ) I have a 54 Tele and a 57 strat . Both with hard rock maple one piece necks and I prefere the brighter tone they give . I am a single coil man rather than humbuckers . Do have a Gibson SG standard as well but prefer the Fenders . Its all personal !
  19. My 372 is a 2003 saw . Spud had it apart to port it a couple of weeks ago and put the original piston back . Said it was fine . bread and butter saw in the U.S.A. and Canada .Legendary IMHO .
  20. I think it is the name of a guitar excessery company . Leads etc . Hi quality acoustic instruments usually have say , rose wood or mahogany as the body and a soft wood top such as spruce . Electric guitars can have swamp ash or alder as resonant solid bodys with maple necks . Sometimes the maple neck is capped with a rose wood or ebony fret board . These different wood combinations give subtle tone differences .
  21. If you mean the register plate then usually its a piece of steel as Rupe says .
  22. Do you fix the shot gun to the top of the tree
