  1. Richard, how do you sweep that?! I'm guessing self fit as I didn't think 90 degree bends would get 'signed off'?
  2. I have a Charnwood C4 - 4.9KW - is absolutely BRILLIANT - Don't let the above put you off regarding the Country 6. I think a 6kw running a back boiler is always going to struggle tbh!
  3. Surely moisture reading needs to be taken on a newly split face, not the end of a log?!
  4. FWIW, I have a Lidl chainsaw, cost me £80 with a 3 year guarantee and an 18" Oregon bar. It's flipping brilliant! Used loads with no issues, starts first time etc! No complaints from a 'social sawer'!
  5. Is your boss having to justify the takedown to the local ramblers?!
  6. But they claim 'THIS' on the front page of their website? All our firewood is from sustainable British woodland, locally sourced from within a 60 mile radius.
  7. Cheers James, will pass on the details! All the best
  8. Slack Ma, do you deliver to Narberth area, or know of any good suppliers that do? Not for me, but for a contact down there.......
  9. Surely this type of advert would be illegal then?!
  10. Interesting. A similar one here close to where I live, however is this really 3cm or as they say 'roughly'?!?! Firewood logs/Hardwood/Wood burner/Stoves,3 cubic metres | eBay
  11. Nice, but won't hold very much! Defo don't put any doors on it either. Get the wind flowing through it!
  12. If you can be picky, don't bother, but if you're after some cheap/free timber to burn, go ahead. It actually burns pretty fine by all accounts, a little quicker, 1yr to season!
  13. Ahhhh man! Top people. How long did it take to process all that?
  14. Caught up with Andy today, he said he had a top week but knackering! Great work!
  15. Highly recommend Charnwood!
  16. I don't think they'll sell off Flatholm, there's huge pressure not too however when the local council have a £22m hole to plug you can see why! As you said though, I think they run on BIOMAS over there and stoves so will always need some kind of woodfuel timber that it's habitable.... this is where CHA fits right in! Yup, they get a serious amount of timber down there! Andy sorts me out regularly for my personal supply, shame they can't make it commercial! In December they had a HUGE mountain of timber, did you process that and how many CM do you think it worked out at? Presumably you're dealing with Andy and maybe Annie down there? Both top people! 17. Ahhh, Ty Nant. No, I was never a customer but knew of you and was a FB friend of your company. I actually emailed you a few years back when I had had enough of my own job to see if you needed any grafters! All the best in the future. CIWW's great!
  18. Ahhh, Timberbear, that must be for the Harbour Authority
  19. Just amazing. Hows is she/they getting on? Our border collie Alfie is the most awesome dog! Can't imagine having another breed!
  20. All the best chap! I'm based in Cardiff and fortunately get timber from various sources for free but have heard of the 'large' firewood companies around here, which one were you? Good luck in the future. For what it's worth, we need some fencing doing, do you do that? Experienced etc?
  21. Only five but new so need to declare. Happy to sell on here and donations to any charity etc. just want to get rid of them now. Anyone want them? Will save waiting on us shipment etc!
  22. Gents, I bought a few of these to sell on for a bit of profit then realised I'll have to set up as a self trader and pay tax etc. Therefore, I have a few for sale as a batch if anyone's interested for a low price to sell to your customers or on eBay etc! Can post same day. Cheers Sam
