  4. cresto skybelt finally taken me months find a new one wanted one ever since my komet skybelt got pinched. had both butterflies by komet but nowts as comfy as a nice big seat harness
  5. as ben jammin suggests using knee/shin as a brace against the pole, tighten lanyard up sufficently to apply force through your knee/shin to the pole stops the sway motion, also crossing your lanyard over itself adds stability.
  6. haha saw that the other week on youtube, looks flipping lethal!!
  7. im after hiring a tracked chipper for a couple of days in Macclesfield need to go up a river then onto the bank and not sure my 150 befind our kubota compact is quite upto it so wanted to see if anyone is local and what kinda price im looking at

  12. bit of innovation coming from a farming background. buy an electric fence reeler for your throwline, you ccan reel it in taught from the tree as you pull your rope through, then it has a brake to stop it unreeling again, alss has two plastic hooks that you can hook onto your truck,a fence etc to hold it while you unreel it to slat it up
  13. jst dont buy a stein supersharp.....mint for around a week, after that they soon go dull ,dont be drawn in by the the reasonable price compared to a silky go the few quid more and get a zubat....amen
  14. ps forgot to mention my 346xp on 15"bar....fallen for it of late
  15. id stick with the 372 and find another supplier, its a lighter better balanced saw than the 576 which we find is heavier and still has difficulties idling properly when constantly moving to diffrent sites with diffrent altitudes. we run one of each and the first on the truck is always the 372
  16. what is your favourite chainsaw to date that you have used, can be from climber to large felling/planking saws. my favourite ever old school is a choice between a husq 254xp with 15" bar or husq 55 again with 15" bar. favourite ever big saw is my husq 395xp with 28" bar, runs rings round the 3120xp all day long
  17. cheers spud. pulled it bits this afternoon and went through your ideas one by one,but had no joy. Also noticed that it is an autotune model same as a 576xp so no carb screws to tinker with, took it husq dealer and told them, will let u know what they prescribe
  18. have the above saw as a cheap semi pro saw for snedding and cutting up alongside the chipper. the revs have started sticking on at quarter revs when u let off the throttle. been doing this on and off for weeks, had cover off and checked all linkages are clean and working, found no issues. today been conny bashing and it refuses to start!! its got fuel to the carb and a spark at the plug but wont go!! ideas as im stumped im thinking its just out of sodding warranty too.so dont want to take it to dealer for a hefty bill if its a minor common fault.
  19. get on ebay pal, reverse camera kit with infa red (for night time) £45.00 including 8" colour screen, easy fit under 1hr.U will never loose the chipper again, ive had one 18months now and its brilliant, also makes general reversing safer.we love if for backing the tw150 up. wish we had a tw125 today, had to push our 150 down a gravel path....ballache!!!
  20. new fencing and windblowns......typical!!
  21. big doh but impressed it still works!!
  22. £12.00/tonne from stobarts
